In anticipation of our upcoming "magic day", (the day we are no longer sequestered and our vaccinations should be fully in force), mom and dad have been scouting out places to take us. They are looking for little areas of still water where we might go wading. Unfortunately, right now most waters are running fast and deep. Here is the first place they went to. It is the river parkway (east end). Monday they will scout out the west end.
A nice pathway with plenty of trees.
A bridge over a little spot that we might go wading. There are dinosaurs at this spot!
A small quiet area for puppy wading.
This is deeper but not too deep (1 foot). Maybe for when we try our first swim?
We had some more excitement too. Mom and Dad stopped to see Goose on their way to the parkway (but he wasn't there) and his mom gave us the bestest present in the universe! Goose and Michelle both know we love sticks (Goose is a huge fan of sticks) so when his mom went into the mountains with Bert's Miss Vickie, she brought us back a stick. And this is not just an ordinary stick, it is the mother of all sticks. It comes from the mountains and . . . you will not believe this . . . has been chewed on by REAL beavers!!
You can see where the beavers were chewing on the stick so we figured that was the best end to start with. Mmmmm, it was goooood!
Pretty soon we had to go to opposite ends.
We worked really hard, you can see the wood chips. We were just like beavers!
We love our stick.
Thank you Goose and Michelle!!
