Today was the day! It's a good thing we rested because today we went on a 5 mile walk! Yup, 5 miles, it was the longest me and Stanley EVER walked in our lives! Mom and dad said they were very proud of us especially since we are just 7 months old!
This is our new friend Taylor. She is so nice. She just got rescued YESTERDAY! We are happy she found her forever home. She smiles a lot! |
Stanley had everyone wait while he cleared the path for safety reasons. |
Shasta's peeps are very nice. Sometimes her mom has treats for us when we visit her at her office. |
We stopped for a drink and Stanley just jumped in the water. I told him we were supposed to drink not swim but he has to swim. |
We found dead fish on the shore and we were trying to figure out why they died. |
Shasta jumped right in the water too. We'll have to invite her over to our pool sometime. |
A few of the crazy people we had to keep track of. This peep is excited because he thought he saw a dinosaur. |
I kept a continuous sniff on the trail. Although me and Stanley have been on this trail before, the people we were leading were on it for the first time. |
Some of the peeps we were leading. Stanley is showing them the way and I jumped ahead to get a picture. (Part of the group had to turn back early.) |
Stanley's leash tried to trip him. |
We had to make sure no one got left on the trail. |
Dang! I wish I was there, I never saw a big owl before! |
After mom and dad saw the owl they went to the All breed Dog Show and watched the agility competition. I think me and Stanley will just nap for the rest of the day. Five miles is a really long way but we had lots of fun!

What a great walk!! Wish I was there, but MOM had to go to the hospital to visit her brother and do some other stuff. And how sweet is Shasta, I really like her. AND you got to meet a new friend!! Very cool. I am looking forward to the next walk with you guys. rest up, it is very important.
Blessings,

I am so impressed that you guys were able to walk so far-great job! Hunter will do our daily two miles if he has a fur friend leading him but if it is just him, he likes to keep it to a max of one mile. Thank you for sharing; have a great Sunday.

Looks like you all had so much fun :) Your friends look cute too!! The water looks so nice as it's really hot here, but I'm not the water enjoying kind of doggy...

Congratulations guys on that massive walk! Whoa, five miles? I've never walked close to that number! It looked like a wonderful trail too, especially the dead fish! ;-)
