Oh Christmas Tree!

Me and Stanley have been wanting to bring up our Christmas tree.  Notice I said "bring up" and not "put up".  We do things a bit differently at our house.  I asked mom why we're different and she said it was cuz nobody at our house was "into" Christmas tree decorating (or more impawtently un-decorating).  So we knew it was up to us to make this happen.  I knew the first place to search was the "Big Room" downstairs . . .

Me and Stanley think it's beautiful!

We do the same with our christmas tree - it is out in the garage storage room - all decorated and covered up - we admit we haven't even pulled it out the last two years we are just not big christmas people either

OMD! How great is that, a easy up Christmas tree . Mom is the same way. Loves the decorations but getting them out and putting them away not so much

Very clever! Mom just has a puny 2' tree - takes her about 15 minutes to put it up, and about 15 minutes to take it down, which is, apparently, Mom's total attention span... Mom likes the lights (and will be working on bokeh shots with Christmas lights soon, FYI), and if it makes her happy, it makes us happy....

BOL - yes, I noted last year that my father did something similar, only in his case it is 'down' from the attic. I have yet to decide whether I want to bother with one; meanwhile window deccies went up today!!! Crikey - I have been in the UK one entire year now - where did it go??????

...is mom good at toy surgery then?... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

Wow clever idea from daddy doods, We love putting up the tree but hate taking it down. Wish we could do that but sadly nowhere here to store it. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly

We usually keep our tree intact, just covered with a sheet, and standing in the garage. BUT we take the decorations off it every year,. Momma loves putting up the decorations, since she gets them to commemorate trips and things going on in her life. She'll say "This one was a present from Grandma" or "I got this one on my trip to Belize!" We pretend to listen while we nap.

Oh, how clever. Mommy never thought of that when we had a tree. We don't have a regular tree any more. Mommy donated it to a family who needed a tree, and we didn't have room, anyway. There is a metal thing with branches that is supposed to be a tree (not) that gets decorated. Sometimes. When Mommy feels like it!

BOL! A pre-set up and pre-decorated tree?!? That is brilliant! Ma hates un-decorating the most!

Happy December Doods! Hubby always puts our together and does the lights, but I have to decorate it all by myself(Hunter just supervises). Love this idea. Also, love-really love your card. I've got to make some for Hunter.
Have a great week.

Oh my gosh we so could have written this blog. We decorated today and the only thing worse than decorating is undecrating. Mommy said she wished she had a tree that was decorated year round. As a dog I could care less about the whole thing

We have a similar tree but mom only keeps the lights on it. Her ornaments are too delicate to leave on it year round.
