Left At Home

The rain came back during the night time.  This morning it was raining a bit too.  But today is Monday so our pawrents go for their long run, even if there are rain clouds!

This is mom at about Mile 3 - still a long way to go!
The clouds covered the mountain top.
Dad got thirsty and had to refill his water bottle.  They call this a "pit stop".
When they finished 13 (mom)/15 (dad) miles later, there were pockets of blue sky.
Stanley really wanted to go with our pawrents but they said it was too far for us.  So he was bored.
Actually I was bored too.  If they weren't such good pawrents I don't think we could put up with them running without us.  I guess mom is probably right, that is a long way for little ol' me to run.

If you tried to run that far your parents would have to carry you the last few miles and they probably don't want to do that.

That 15 miles sure is far. I think it would be better to gnaw on a bone while they are gone for that long! Hope you get some more sun tomorrow.

Wow, we're impressed your pawrents run 13 and 15 miles! I (Elyse) wouldn't be able to even make it through HALF a mile! Haha! Don't know about Riley...she would probably get too hot and just pass out...

yow! just the thought of running 13 or 15 squillion miles makes us tired! you know Murphy, your folks shouldn't run that far just so you and Stanley don't get left behind. On the other paw, carrying you pups part way would be an added weight workout for them (hee hee!)

87 jillion miles is too far doods. Better you stay in the clubhouse and pick up chicks while your pawrents are out running around!
