Sunday Walkie

After such a cold, dark (smoggy from all the inversions) winter, it is such a joy to see blue sky (photo taken from our driveway)!
The mountains still have snow but it is almost gone around our neighborhood!
Hey - it's my neighbor Benson!
Benson just wanted  to say "hello". His name really isn't Benson (it's Buddy) but that is what we named him.
Where's Stanley?
Oh, there he is!
Dad & Stanley when we went on our walk to practice hands-free walking and running.
Whoa - what is THAT??
Sheep and little lambs!
That's the thing about walkies, you never know what you'll run into!

Ball/Leg Update:  I have really been suffering without my ball.  Mom says it is hard for her too.  She was talking to Goose's mom today and glad that Goose's mom knew how hard it was for us (Mom said she felt validated).  But, after we got back from our walkie today Mom watched my walk and she thinks my little "skip" is going away and I am nearly symmetrical!  I'm not sure what that means and why it makes mom happy cuz I still have to wait until June before I can play ball again.  Stanley's knee is doing good too and has not popped out.

CGC Vest Update:  We received our vests.  Mom is all silly and says we look cute in them.  But, we had to reorder the patch cuz the other one didn't fit.  So we can't post a picture until we get the new patch.

Mom's Falling Update:  Mom went skiing yesterday and fell 4 times.  No abrasions but her butt hurts.  Me and Stanley are just glad she didn't break a hip cuz she is very old.

Oh! Four times falling is pretty darn good! I can't stay up, and I fall getting on the lift to get back up the mountain. That is a beautiful view you have from your driveway! And I can't wait to see your vests!

I can't imagine what it would be like to look out my driveway and see snowy mountains...I've never lived anywhere like that so seeing your photo just amazes me...Glad you too are healing up so nicely...you'll both be back in shape soon

Hi Buddies, your view is amazing! Glad you're doing o.k. Without your ball-after all we don't want you to get hurt permanently! So glad mom wasn't hurt skiing, if you think she is old than I must be older than dirt. It was really cold and windy here, Hunter and I even took a nap this afternoon. He is finally acting more like himself; I may take him for a walk tomorrow. Have a warm, snugly evening.

I am so glad your mom's butt is ok, just a little tender. You have a wonderful neighborhood and it looks cool for walks. I got to go to Salt Lake today and that was cool, but the drive down and back was LOOOONNNNGGG
I am glad to be home.

What a beautiful neighbourhood you live in. We are glad your mom's butt is ok. Our Lady is thinking about those hand free leashes. She wonders if that would help us. Hmmmmm! Have a great day! Lee and Phod

Those are some big hills. We don't have many hills here, and then they're only small. Hopefully, there'll be some more ball action in the near future.

Can't wait to see the vests.

We're going to do a complete review of them after we get back from our trip. We did one post about how they are made, etc. but the next one will be on our actual use of them.

Wow, what a grand view. Dod your friend Benson have a Mommy or Daddy with him? He looks so tiny. He could have been smoshed by a car roaming the streets by him self. Did he walk with y'all? We are happy your Mommy didn't get hurt sking.

So Mommy is tempting fate ~~~ I think someone should set her down and give her kind talking to ~~~ broken hips are not to be flirted with.
You have a lovely neighbourhood, all those mountains and sheep ~~~ that's just incredible ~~~ so much to smell and look at. Love your world!!
