After Supper Stroll

After supper on Saturday, we decided to take a walk.

We went on the canal trail.  It is by our house.
Parts of it are primitive.
But the view is really nice.
It's mostly flat, very unusual for our neighborhood!

And a little bit of it is even paved!

So we were just walking along, enjoying the evening.
We had no clue what we were about to come up on!
Can you see it?  When we saw them we froze in our tracks!
Chickens!  We saw chickens!  We never saw chickens before!

Then we continued on down the trail.
It was starting to get darker so we left the trail and took residential streets back home.
By the time we got home it was totally dark (the center light is the moon) and we had gone almost 5 miles!

Chickens!!!!! yummmm. Speaking of chicken did you know they make a GREAT healthy filling for TACOS?! It is true. So I want to tell your momma that she should make you chicken tacos and let you guys eat them for Jazzi's Taco Thirday thingy. You could get a whole wheat torlilla thingy and add some grilled chicken, and some cheese and tomatoes. Very healthy and good for you and your tummy will thank you and Jazzi will be so happy. And we all can sit around together eating tacos. Hope your mom lets you celebrate with us.
Blessings,
Goose

You boys get to see the best things on your walks. You have the best dad and mom as well. I sure wish we lived near you guys-you'd have such fun with Hunter. Your area is so beautiful! Have a great day.

WOW ... what a walk!!!! We don't usually go that far cuz it takes too long because I have this strong desire to sniff every single blade of grass. Our pace is kinda slow. You go, doods!!!
