We Honor . . .

Today we want to honor two lives that left us this past week.  The first one is the son of a friend of our peeps.  Jake was 20 years old and died in an auto accident.  Mom says he was a special kid.  He was the type of person who was going to be very successful and serve as an example to others that a person can rise above their circumstances.  He was bright, funny, talented, and had a good head on his shoulders.

The second is a friend from our Friday Fort Walks.  We called him Big Murphy because we had the same name.  You can see in this photo we looked alike except for the size difference.  He was a therapy dog and helped many people.  His mom is a very gentle, sweet person.

We grieve along with the families of these two individuals and pray for their comfort.  And today, we honor them and thank them for meeting us in their cut-too-short life journey.  May you both be resting in the presence of God.
