Close Encounter of the Worst Kind!

The most gross funniest thing happened today.  Well, I thought it was funny but mom was extremely sort of disgusted about it and maybe dad knows thinks it was funny too.  When Stanley found out what happened he didn't think it was funny, nor was he disgusted.  He just said it was an emotional traumatic and horrifying moment he would rather forget.

Anyway, here's what happened . . . mom and dad were in the living room with the guy from the furniture store because there is a flaw on the new recliners.  So they are talking and dad looked down at the couch.

Wait a minute, let me back up . . . as you might remember, yesterday we had the horrifying experience of Stanley's jaw getting stuck in my collar, causing me to nearly die strangle.  You can see Stanley has a big nose mouth.

Anyway, he was so traumatized by the whole thing he pooped his pants.  This all came out happened right in front of the couch.  Now, back to our peeps and the furniture guy . . . dad looked at the couch and noticed something pushed down a little bit between the 2 cushions (on the left side).  It was a turd!  Yup, a turd!  And the furniture guy was gonna see it!  So dad nonchalantly reached over and picked it up with his bare hand.  Yup, his bare hand!  It wasn't really big and he said it wasn't mushy so it wasn't too bad.  But still!  Ewwwwww! Mom cannot believe it was there and no one saw it.  We ALL thought it was only on the carpet.  Well, actually,I sniffed something suspicious last night and tried to tell mom but she didn't listen because my nose is smaller.

At least the furniture guy did not realize there was a turd in the couch.  YAY!  Brave dad saved the day!
