Family Run & Stuffs

Since today is Friday we got up early, I think mom said it was "Zero Dark Thirty" and went for our regular 6 mile run.  We didn't get any pictures cuz it is hard to do while actually running, but mom took a family photo when we were done.
After me and Stanley go running, we're pretty pooped.  So we just nap and laze around.  We noticed that the sticks have changed flavor, they're taking on a more smoky Autumn flavor lately.

You might notice our feets are dirty.  When we run, mom and dad let us wade through the puddles left by people wasting water.  It cools us down.
So while we just kick back today mom and dad are going to celebrate their anniversary.  Mom says they got married 22 years ago and dad told her it was 23.  After dad checked their marriage license he knew mom was right.  Mom says after 22 years she'd have thought he figured that out by now.  That cracked me and Stanley up and we had a good laugh.

For this next picture mom was just playing around with a photo she took a few weeks ago.  But know what . . . it's true!

Have a wonderful and safe Labour* Day weekend ever'body!

Murphy & Stanley

Pee Ess - Did you notice how I spelled the word "labour"?  That was for all our friends in the UK - we're being more International!

A SIX MILE RUN....holey moley quacamoley...we can barely walk around the fence line (yes MOM put the fence back up like two weeks ago and warned Dad that she would KILL him if he took it down, yes doods she said the word KILL) anyway we can hardly make it around the fence line cos it is so hot here, mom came home for lunch and we got to stay out 3.5 minutes and that is all!
Tell your parents Happy Anniversary!!!! We love all the words mom puts on yur pictures!

Happy Happy Anniversary to your mom and dad! I love that you get up in the middle of the night to go running-bol. At least it will be cool in the early morning for your run. It was nice this morning but is so hot right now, with temps continuing to go up until tonight. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Happy Anniversary! My husband says that the purpose of the engraving inside our rings is that no one forgets our wedding date :)

I'm glad you had a fun Friday run together.

LOL. We hate double spellings... there's traveling and travelling too.

A dood with a stick sounds nice. And when doodles dream, I thought they dreamed of food

Thank you M & S !!

I feel included now with the 'our' in Labour. Even in Canada we do as dee British, is their an "our" in Britain? Nope, I don't tink so!

What lucky dogs going on a mice long run like that. You must be in super shape, good for the ol' ticker.

Happy Belated Anniversary to the humans!

All the best on Labor Day w/e ~~ just for you guys ~~ wink wink!

Oh, I totally agree with Ruby about what your dad should know....and if your mom ever is wrong (like that will happen) he should know not to say anything to her about it! Congrats to your mom and dad!

Heehee! Very international of you two! Congratulations (again) to your Mom and Dad! Tell your Dad not to feel bad - our Dad remembers the day and month that he and Mom got married, but never remembers the year, either, and is always surprised at the number of years (which is nothing close to the number of years your parents have been married!). We love the last photo - although we're usually dreaming of frisbees and squirrels!
