These things have started showing up on MY deck, just outside the door.
I'm watching this thing to make sure it doesn't try to come in the house. |
If it comes any closer towards the door, I'll bark at it! |
OK, look and see . . . if you must. |
The Northern Flickers are back (mom says we typically have 5-6 of them and saw 5 in the yard just yesterday). |
And my humans encourage them with this tree branch (it has holes with suet)! |
Sometimes humans just don't make any sense at all. |

Murphy you just keep watch. If they make any funny moves I know you'll be right on top of it. My MOM use to feed the birds too. But that turned into skunks and raccoons eating the feed and then that turned into raccoons chasing me and skunks spraying me. So now we don't feed the birds. They are nothing but problem starters.
Blessings,
Goose

You are right Murphy, sometimes humans don't make any sense at all. Be sure to keep watch for intruders though.

Pees; love you new header pic. Murphy, it looks like you are worried about Stanleys driving, Heeheehee!!!
Oh man, you've got yourself some chirping invaders! Keep an eye on them!
Hi there, The birds won't be around too long, winter is on its way. At least they don't try to hurt you. Hope you have a great night and keep guarding the house.

Keep up the good work Murphy. How annoying to have those birds so close to your window.

Mom told me about your skunk problems!
I am, he is terrible at turns and every time he turns I am afraid we will crash!
The northern Flickers will be here all winter and leave in the spring when they return to the mountains.
YOu guys should totally be chasing them away! And your peeps feeding them? That's nuts@
Nubbin wiggles,

The nerve of those birds coming on to YOUR deck, Murphy!
Good job making sure they don't get any closer than that!

I can't believe your peeps are actually encouraging these birds to come to your deck! Us humans can be so weird though. You are doing a good job guarding the door though. :)

I'll come over and bark at those things too, if you guys want!! :-D That's not cool of your parents, don't they know that they need to get your permission for this type of thing?! Pft!
We don't bother with birds but the cats and squiggles are another story. Have a fabulous vigilant Friday.
Best wishes Molly
