Another Broken Record!

Well, we did it again!  We set another new record for all time longest walkie!  Today we went 5.75 miles!!  It was a celebration of our birthday tomorrow because tomorrow me and Stanley are 9 months old!  Our pawrents took us to a new place called City Creek Canyon.  It was a wonderful day!

Nothing but blue skies!
Mom said, "sit" so maybe we should jump?
"I'm gonna sit."
It's a paved trail, very wide.
Sunny and warm.  No jacket required on this November day!
"Let's go, we got distance to cover!"
How do you walk 5.75 miles?  Just put one paw in front of the others!
See the trail?
Stanley with dad.
Once again, no swimming!  Rats!
"Come on ma, let's go!"
We did lots of sniffing along the way.
Can you see it??  Way off in the distance?
We walked a long way before we got to it . . .
Gotta get a little drinkie from a spring . . .
It took us a long time but . . .

At the end of the trail, we ended up someplace surprising!
Surprise!  Our state capitol!

Stanley and dad posed at the Indian statue (a tribute to the Indian Chief who helped pilgrims in Massachusetts).  Not sure why the statue is so far from Massachusetts.
Stanley jumped up by the lion.  They're almost the same size!
Me and mom posed at the statue too.
I posed by the back of the lion and kept humming the song that says, "I got a tiger by the tail".

After our hike, we went to a store called "Ma and Paws Bakery".  We got a treat and our pawrents bought us a present for our birthday.  We'll show it to you in our next post.

Incredible feat my friends, :-) you are both becoming expert walkers! I think that there's a puppy Marathon with your names all over it! Wow, 9 months old? Soon enough you'll be an old pup, like me! ;-) Have a great b-day and cookie!

You should go there Goose! But I have to warn you that there is a sign on the lions that say "NO CLIMBING". So that means you cannot climb, you must crawl or step on it, just no climbing.
