A Bit of Shopping

Since Stanley felt so much better today we decided to do a little bit of shopping.  (His toenails got cut and a couple of them were too short and bled like crazy and our house looked like a crime scene.)  We went to PetSma*t and Pet*o to start.

"Hmmm . . . these smell delicious!"
"I'll just pick me out a couple of good ones."
"Variety is the spice of life!"
"What is that???"
"Yes Dad, that's about my size!"
We ended up getting some elk horns!  It was our first ever.  Butt, we sure like them!  Then we went to Lowes (Home Depot is also supposed to allow dogs).  Everywhere we went people had to stop and pet us because we are so cute.  Then when they felt how soft our hair is they went crazy!

"Let's check some guy stuff Dad!"
"How about this stuff?"
"Do we need any roof stuff Dad?"
"Come on Dad, put some stuff in the cart!"
"Mom was right, we go to a place like this and end up wondering all over the store."
"Here it is Dad - I found it for ya!"
"Need some help with that?"
"How much money do we need to give her?"

After that we went home.  We sure do like going shopping!  Our pawrents are going to take us to Lowes and Home Depot all winter long so we can practice manners.

I have not been to the Lowes. But once I ran free in Home Depo. hehhehehe. That was years ago however. I like elk horns also. But that BIG bone looks very inviting. You two are excellent shoppers. Ever ride in the cart? Could be fun!

Goose

Hi there, Looks like you got some great toys; I am anxious to hear more about the Elk antlers-if they smell or not. Hunter loves those types of goodies but we've found many really smell. I wanted to take Hunter into Lowe's once but dad thought he might pee in the store and didn't want to chance a mess. I've got to start bribing him on car rides because all of the sudden he has gotten so anxious about the car-I figure if I reward him every time we get in it, he will start liking it.
Glad Stanley's toenails are better.
Have a great night.

That looked like a fun day of shopping. I went to two pet stores today too, but daddy doesn't like to take pictures so they can concentrate on my training.

Boy, you guys have some great humans. They are introducing you to all the stuff you need so that you are very social and well behaved in public.

Hope you get to come play on Saturday. My Vickie will send out the email of place and time tomorrow.

Your buddy

wow! you guys got to have a great day shopping didnt ya! there arent so many places that let dogs in here, just the petshops and garden centres really.

glad to hear stanleys foot is ok, bet your dad felt so bad hurting your little tootsies, i know i would. i take so long to decide if i can cut stormys toes cos i would die if i made him bleed. touch wood been good so far :) i read once that if you start to squeeze and they pull there foot away or make a noise or just act different somehow that might hurt them and thats a sign that you shouldnt cut it that short, its worked for me so far :) and i always finish them off with a nail file and thats a more careful way to do it. stormy goes to sleep now cos he get sick of waiting for me to finish. plus if you round off there toenails it hurts less when they scratch you to bits diving on ya! oops maybe i shouldnt tell on stormy, everyone might of thought he was an angel not a secret tasmanian devil LOL!!!

Big hugs

Charlene and Stormy

Stanley I'm so glad your pretty paws were feeling better so you could go on that fantastic man trip with Murphy and Dad and of course mom to document it. I'm so glad everyone gave you two a pet too!! OMDs good thing your mom had you two on a leash 'cause we know a trip to Lowe's can make men go crazy. Elk horns...ummmm we had never heard of them and now twice this week we see mention.
Hugs all around
