Our snow is melting! We've had a ton of snow. This picture is from our front door. You can see there is still lots of snow in the mountains.
See the house on the left? Remember it and notice the cars parked around it and the water by the sidewalk.
In the meantime, look at the back yard. I am fetching of course. My flight path is in great shape!
My action is still great!
I still fly like the wind with Wilson in my mouth!
Stanley still steals Wilson when he gets a chance.
Me and Wilson are a team. I had to rest a minute.
Shoot, Stanley's chasing me again!
Now, about that house . . . the snow melted too fast and it also rained. That house, along with many others, flooded.
They have 5 pumps running and can't keep up with the water. They are trenching the back yard in hopes of diverting the water.
See how we are on the hill? Well the communities at the bottom of the hill are flooding and even worse . . .
The sewer system is running at 900% capacity and it is backing up in some houses down the hill!
Our mayor asked us to not use any extra water to help reduce the overload.
So I told mom if we play in the backyard it will be a good idea.
Luckily she and dad agreed with me! This is the last of the snow in the backyard.
But there's still lots in the mountains.
We hope it doesn't melt too fast BUTT this next week is supposed to be warm and sunny.
We will cross our paws for those who live below us!

You are lucky to be on the high side. That's too bad for the houses down the hill from you. Looks like you are having a great time fetching.
Good thing you are up high. Water coming in the houses is not fun at all. We love how you have that flight path for your fetching. And Mom loves the view you have of those beautiful mountains.

That's a gorgeous landscape! Our snow has been melting, but we're supposed to get a big blizzard tomorrow.
I think we have your melted snow. I am sorry about the water in the house. That used to drive Mama crazy. We hope you get it solved and the people below you are OK too.
Thanks for showing us your gorgeous views!!! LOVE the mountain views! We feel bad for the people down the hill. We lived in a house that flooded ... and it is an awful experience. Your fetching path is awesome!! We won't be seeing warm weather til we get out in the RV and we are hoping it doesn't snow enough that we have to dig it out!! :)

Yikes... congrats on the one paw and commiserations on the other! The impawtant thing is that the runway is free of hurdles!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Crikey ...... just as well you live on the hill aye?? You sure look happy the snow is going but Mum and I sure are going to miss all your snow pics. The mountains still look very pretty, aye??
Please sending whatever melted your snow our way. We are getting another 2 feet today. Man had to hire someone to come and shovel the rough and he really needs to take on the deck. Winter is hard.
I don't think we'll have that problem if this weather keeps up. It snows a little bit, then it melts! But there's still time for a big blizzard …
Looks just right for fetching! Glad the pawrent agreed.

Glad you boys are on the top of the hill but sorry for those downhill. Hopefully the weather will get more seasonal. It was 80 in Denver on Thursday which is definitely NOT seasonal for February. At this rate, we're gonna have to start watering! Stay safe.
Glad you got some quality time in with Wilson!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
Your poor neighbors! We're on a little hill too -- not as much of one as you! -- so our neighbors always flood before us.
Holy guacamole! Your views are incredible. Can we come sit in your yard and stare at the mountains. I had NO idea you had such beauty right outside your door. I am so sorry for the flooding. ♥
Most of our snow has finally melted too. I hope those further down the hill are all safe.
Happy Valentine's Day!
