Today we went for our 6 mile run. Normally we would do it on Friday but tomorrow it is supposed to be rainy all day so dad said we should go today instead. Stanley gets REALLY excited (so do I butt he is more vocal about things) when he knows we are FINALLY getting to go. He jumps on the bed and barks "Woo-woo-woo-woo!". He does it 4 times.
It was a good run with LOTS and LOTS of puddles! And we splashed through them all! The snow is melting fast even if there is still a lot of black snow along the streets. The area we ran today is about 700 feet (213 meters) lower in elevation than our house so there was even less snow.
Mostly mom forgot to take pictures. I wasn't in the mood to pose cuz I wanted to get back running!
See how long my lashes are (very noticeable on my left eye)!
Stanley always likes to pose!
Notice: Leashes were photo edited out.
Anyway, it was a blast! A couple hours later mom took us in the backyard and I did some fetching. My whole flight path is now snow free so I can really get going fast! The grass is really soggy and mud holes are starting to show up. Score!
The weather for next week is looking good for mom to not be crabby. Me and Stanley are crossing our paws!

Hi there, I took a nice walk this morning and then we took Hunter for a short one-short because Lily and Cooper were over for the afternoon so he didn't need more exercise. Our weather is supposed to turn cold this weekend too, but we get to go to sunny AZ next week.
Wags,
Noreen and Hunter
Mom was a wimp today and said it was too cold for her bones to walk. But we are headed to some really warm weather the next couple of days, here's hoping she agrees to walk.
Six miles - that's superb!!!

A six mile run? I haven't run six miles in nine years. Wow. Good for you.
Snow AND mud puddles...winter winner! How long does it take to run that far?
your pawrents are troopers... that's not easy to run after they had to fight with the flu gremlin... YAY for you all!

Sounds like you guys had a wonderful time!! I love mud and mud puddles how much more pawfect could your run have been? You guys and your pawrents are in wonderful shape. My Mom walks 5 miles a day on her treadmill and it takes her all day to do it. Me I'm a short legged weenie girl. Most Mom lets me walk is 2 miles at best. I loveee to sniff and hunt my critters.

Excellent that you can get out and RUN! We've only been able to go in the early morning BEFORE the sun comes up. Love your eyelashes!!!
That sounds like SO MUCH FUN! Especially the puddles part! I love puddles! Maggie actually jumps over them - isn't that crazy? I like splashing right through them.

Wow! That's a long way to run! Ghostwriter figures she probably walks at least a couple miles per shift while on duty at her job.
Looks like you went for a great run :) Milo & Jet
I'm so jealous, even with Maybelline, I don't have lashes like that!
