Fund Raiser

On Saturday our church had the annual event that raises money for recreation programs at the local veterans home.  There is a race, a chili cookoff, and lots of other stuffs.

Mom said Stanley could NOT join the army even though he was talking about jumping out of planes with the army guys.

Michelle was telling me NOT to tell Buddy that dogs came cuz she told him he had to stay home.

Stanley had to get loving from Michelle as he whacked me in the face with his tail.

We posed in the pumpkin patch to help sales.

Lots of hoomans came.  It was a huge success!

STANLEY! I DO love a mandog in uniform, but the Army sounds awfully dangerous. I think you should stay in politics.

Looks like a great turn out. Murphy, at first I thought you had a wig until I figured it out it was Stanley whacking you in the head with his tail.

Aroo to you,
Sully

Hooray for the Red Cross! Ghostwriter always used to donate blood to the Red Cross because she has a rare blood type. But last July, she needed to get three pints back! You never know when you might be the one needing it, so keep it up if you can!

Hooray for your veterans too! So glad your event was a success!

That looks like a great fund-raiser! I'll bet Buddy smelled you guys on his mama when she got home. I hope she made it up to him with extra ball-playing time or something!
Joining the Army sounds awesome!

That looks like a lot of fun! We have seen dogs parachute out of planes before they land in the middle of wars and other scary stuff.. You better stay home and take care of your humans. ♥ Do we some military people and Star Wars people too???

Hi ya boys! Loved seeing all that was happening at your church. Glad they didn't take blood from you two. Michelle looks like she adored all your loving. Thanks for sharing; hope you are having nice fall weather and that winter hasn't arrived yet.

Congrats on a well received event. We are big supporters of blood drives in our neck of the woods. Stanley...you look more like a Navy dog than Army. 😁 Good job, guys!
