We're Home!

We are FINALLY home!  We had a most wonderful time on our vacation to the coast of Oregon. The weather was pawfect, nice and cool.  It was 40 degrees cooler there than when we got home! And of course meeting Dory and her mama was a thrill for us!

It took us 2 LONG days of riding in the truck to get home.  Mom says it is a good thing me and Stanley are . . .

Our time at the ocean refreshed our minds and spirits.  Of course mom went nuts last night when she got to lay down in the big bed instead of the tight snuggle on the little bed in the wheelie house.  She kept calling me and Stanley Bed Hogs!

And when we met Dory and her mama, they gave us special pressies!  When Dory's mom and dad were deep sea diving they caught a shark and octopus especially for me and Stanley!  Is that cool or what?  Thank you so much, we LOVE them!   Here I am snuggled to Ocho (that is the name I gave the octopus).

When mom got home she kept dragging in all this dirty laundry.  With all the complaining she did about it me and Stanley just don't understand why hoomans just don't go naked like doggies and kitties?

Anyway, when we met with Dory, we put our heads together and talked about something that she mentioned on her bloggy today too.  A Blogville Retreat!  How cool would that be to meet others in the furs?

So we think that everybody needs to be thinking about this!  We can do it next summer.  And depending on how many are interested in meeting we can figure out where and when to meet.  So if you are interested (and willing to travel a bit as may be necessary) LET US KNOW!  In the meantime, mom is doing laundry and we're trying to get ketchup.  (I told mom the ketchup was in the fridge but she just rolled her eyes.)

We will talk more about our meeting Dory in a few days (after ketchup).  BUTT for now I will say mom kept saying Dory was a love and I can't believe how good she smells (Ruby, it was only platonic I assure you).

So let's get the conversation started about a retreat and in the next few days we will be catching up on everyone's blogs!

home sweet home huh? it's great to sleep in your own bed after a wonderful howl-i-day... I always wonder why that humans need so much stuff ... they should wear furs like you and me and they only would need a brush instead all that clothes :o)

Welcome home! I love the idea of a Blogville Retreat! I'm not sure I could attend, depending on work and bills, but it would be a total blast getting to meet so many of our Blogille furiends in the actual furs.

Mom loves ketchup....from the fridge...OMDs you mom must have to wash every single piece of clothing in the house. Bless her heart!

My peeps really meant to do some traveling after mom retired in 2011. So they would surely be up to a trip/retreat. But of course I'd have to stay home with my sitter but I'd send flat Madi maybe.

Vacations are fun, but it is always great to be home. Back when mom and dad had 5 pugs, they all went camping. Mom and the pugs slept in the bed and Dad slept on the couch bed BOL! There wasn't enough room for everybody

OMD! We think meeting the Blogville citizens would be great fun! It would depend on how far we would have to drive, but it sounds wonderful to us. That is a lot of laundry and reminds me of when our kids lived at home! LOL!

It's grreat that you're home and had such a grreat trip! We think the Blogville Retreat sounds like a fangtastic idea, but we're a little far from most folks and aren't sure if we'd be able to make it.

Yay, glad you guys made it home safely. Congrats on the cool prezzies. I think the 'poodle' DNA of you is what makes for bed hogs, Sam has it too and since he's a full standard, a HUGE bed hog! Ha, ha. Love the idea of a blog retreat. Could be a real blast depending on the location.
P.S. Be nice to Mom, that's a whole lot of laundry to handle, so my sympathies to her. :)

Welcome back Mayoral Doodz! WOW, we can't believe you got meet Dory in the furs - that is so exciting. Our mom also complained a lot about all the laundry when she and dada got back from their holiday. A Blogville retreat sounds PAWSOME...it would be even more so if we actually lived near anybuddy...or even in the US of A - BOL, just sayin'
