We are so excited to have our furst practice session with our Coach Easy! Everyone was ready to get started. BUTT the furst thing we noticed was the different kinds of soccer balls! (You may need to bigify the photos.)
And of course while we were waiting to get started we might have noticed the cheerleaders. Talk about eye candy! Oops, sorry to our girlfriends, we did NOT really look or even notice, somebody just told us that so we took their word for it.
So the very furst thing we did was get a team photo. That way we had something to hang on the fridge.
Then the cheerleaders took off on their own so they could practice their cartwheels or something. They didn't have anyone in charge so Jim was watching them and said something that Madi misunderstood . . .
Someone needs to tell Madi that Jim said "tweak" NOT "twerk"! Anyway, they got a bit out of control.
So while they were going nuts practicing cheers, Easy started whipping us into shape.
After a minute we got really focused and started listening to Coach Easy. He said if we didn't want the Slayers to totally massacre us in our game that we had to do exactly what he said . . .
So then we had a discussion about the different terminology used in soccer . . . football . . . soccer. Then things went a bit smoother . . .
We thought soccer players are supposed to balance soccer balls on their heads (we saw it on TV). Apparently that isn't the case. So we did what is called a drill. We practiced kicking the ball with our paws.
Just when Coach Easy was about to give up on us, this happened . . .
Yup, SOMEBODY kicked 3 balls and stacked them up! Coach Easy said he will find out who did it and make that player our MVP! So even though no one has yet ever kicked the ball into the goal, we are going to play against THE SLAYERS on May 19th. You'll want to hurry and buy your tickets to that game cuz it will be a disaster great game for your Blogville Barkers. Not only will our MVP be revealed BUTT we will also reveal TWO National anthems that were composed by REAL Blogville residents! They are wonderful and will bring tear drops to your eyes! Coach Easy even had us practice standing at attention during the anthem.

that triple balls is 100% soccer art :o) not even Lothar can do that and he once said he can do all things :o) Maybe it was Bertie who got his name after Bertie Vogts?
