Guess what . . . we FINALLY finished "The Project"!
Me and Stanley were shocked to see that Dad removed the walls of the Doodle Clubhouse from the new cement pads. Then he put them back up AGAIN, this time on one of the new pads!
Then he started opening GIANT boxes and taking stuffs out EVERYWHERE!
Then he started putting up walls next to our Clubhouse. Stanley decided to lay low and hid in the clubhouse while I checked things out. (Ignore the "No Cats" part of the sign as that does NOT apply to ANY of our Blogville friends!)
I told Stanley he better come and check this out for himself.
I think this is a giant clubhouse!
Dad kept working on it - all day long!
Stanley read the directions for Dad. Dad needed the extra help cuz the directions were not good!
But us guys have been working on this project for a few days now and we weren't gonna let bad directions get in our way!
Stanley kept picking up screws and washers that fell out of the bags.
"Dad, you ready for me to bring in this top piece?"
Stanley was exhausted from all the work.
Mom said we had to put a cement pad under the Doodle Clubhouse because last year we kept digging holes and making it all muddy. We love our Clubhouse and go in there all the time when we're playing in the yard (our pawrents hardly ever close the door). Mom said she hates where we had to put it but we live on the foothills and our yard slopes in 2 directions and this was the only flat spot. And Dad needed that shed REAL bad, especially since he bought Bubba (the giant snow-blower) this past winter. Now mom says we have to fix all the landscaping that got destroyed. Oh, now THAT is going to be a BIG project for sure!
Pee Ess - Thanks for all the birfday wishes for my dad that everyone left on Madi's blog yesterday. If you didn't see our interview, be sure to stop over to check it out!
