Wheelie House Life

We love our new little wheelie house, even though it gets as hot as an oven when it is in the full sun.  BTW, for those who saw just how hot it gets you might be shocked to know that when we moved up north to another place the A/C about froze us out!  There was a tree that shaded 1 side (the side with all the windows) and the sun hit on the front and back of the trailer instead of that window side.  We thought we were in a meat locker for a week!  Yup, it got and stayed VERY COLD!  Anyway, every morning we sit at the table for breakfast.  Here is me patiently waiting . . .

We have dog beds but lots of times we prefer the couch.

I like the extra room to stretch out.

We still do our neighborhood watch.

Here we are in the truck.  It pulls the wheelie house and dad is an expert at it.

We always sleep when we travel.  Mom says we are easy travelers.  We only wake up when we stop for gas.

We're excited to go on our next trip - the ocean!

  1. Can't believe after nearly cooking, you nearly froze! Something is wrong with your a/c or insulation or something!

  2. I always sleep on the road too, but Bailie likes to look out the window all the time. Looks like you guys have quite the nice set up for travel. Our house is stuck, doesn't move at all so we travel in the SUV.

I rather thought the tree-shade that had gone by the time you landed at Browns might be the answer to that tricky-sticky problem - it does suggest the insulation is the major lack; also maybe the unit on the roof itself needs to be kept cool in order to work fully! Whatever, the key to booking sights now is - at least a 10 foot hedge to the sunny side!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

    1. We will be north of you at Barview. Usually we wander down the coast but this time we are going to stay in one place. We are leaving just after the middle of the month (August). We don't want to put exact dates on here but you can email mom at cecampbell@msn.com

  25. What a nice wheelie house you have! We'd love to get a small one to travel around in style. Given the past couple of weeks of heat, I think mom would like the cold version.
