Fun Feeder

Our friends at Chewy asked us to review a fun feeder. Of course, we are interested in ANYTHING that says "feeder" so we were really fast to say,
"Oh heck yeah!"

Then I looked at Stanley and asked,

"What's a fun feeder?"

Stanley didn't know either so we googled it and found it here.  Then in the blink of an eye, Natalie at Chewy said she'd get it shipped out to us!

When we got it, mom opened the box and saw how big it was.  It is not a cheapie baby feeder, it was made for man dogs like us!  It is VERY sturdy with rubber grips on the bottom to prevent sliding.

12 inch diameter

It said it would hold 4 cups so we played a trick on mom saying there was no way it would hold more than 2 or 3 pieces of kibble so she filled it waaaaaay up!  When we saw it we both said,

"Wow, that holds a lot of food!"

Now we have to tell you that neither my brother nor I are fast eaters.  Well, Stanley eats treats super fast but his regular food he eats nice and slow, just like me.  BUTT we have furends who eat so fast they throw up!  We can easily see how this would slow them down fur sure.  Butt me and Stanley were just in it for the fun and it was fun!

So mom did an experiment and put the fun feeder next to our regular free feeder thingie to see what we'd do.  And guess what?  We went back and forth!

Mom likes that the fun feeder is easy to clean (top rack dishwasher safe) and made of safe plastic (BPA, PVC & phthalate free).  Me and Stanley like it cuz there's food in it BOL!

We highly recommend this feeder for all our furends who eat too fast or for those looking to buy a nice pressie for their dog.

Chewy provided us with this Outward Hound Fun Feeder at no charge in exchange for our honest opinion.

We have one of those for Walter to review too. Our mom says we will be doing our review next week.

We got the teal one to review. Mom read in the questions that it is the medium difficulty one. The orange/coral one is the hardest. We haven't tried it yet, but Mom is hoping it will work for Lightning. He doesn't like the one that Misty and Timber use. It may be too deep for him. If it works for him, we might each get one. Thanks for the review. It is nice to see you eat together.

We do eat quickly, but don't think we'd like to work for our food...bwahaahaa! It does look good for the dogs who eat too fast.

These are a fabulous idea; I just wish they had been around before Jade got her angel wings. She was a gobbler. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

We use slow feeders because we are starving at meal time. BOL! If we were free feeders, we’d be ginormous.

I love the color... and I think the mama put it on her list... I'm a super fast eater, so maybe that purple wonderbowl will help ;O))

Interesting idea. But I am not a fast feeder, and several of Gail's friends have even commented on how delicately I take my treats!

That is one terrific feeder! Miss Chloe sometimes has an issue with eating just a bit toooooo fast. She has a slow feeder bowl. It is no where near as big as yours! Great review you guys!

Well I'll be Van Gogh's Aunt...that is just about too clever. OMCs mom and dad's friends had a Corgi,,,,,Yogi who musta had a vacuum in his mouth...the use to put his food all scattered about and spaced nicely in groups on a place mat. It seemed to work but they would have loved this Fun Feeder.
AS for me....I don't like to work for my food...in fact in true Diva style when my canned food gets too close to the edge of my bowl I stop, meow for mom to scrap it to the center so I can finish...hey stop laughing...

That does look like fun. Mom wasn't sure if it would work for us with our flat faces so we opted to not review it

We have that exact bowl! We both think it's a lot of fun to eat out of it. The only thing Mom has against it is yeah, it CAN go in the dishwasher, but who on Earth has room for it?!!

We are going to have to try that out with our Ramble. We have one for him but he's figured out how to maximize his nom inhalation for speedy eating. It might be time to try a new design.
