Popping In

Hello everyone! We apologize for not being around lately.  We have been on Facebook and it seems to consume all the allotted time for computer stuff.  BUTT we begged mom and now we are making a post and later today will be walking around Blogville to visit you!

This top picture was taken when we went to see our Mayor off.  We really like him and our pawrents went to a Farewell Reception a few days prior to this. On this day the pawlice had their sirens blazing and drove past all the schools in our city so the people could wave goodbye to our Mayor.  He is being deployed to Afghanistan for a year.  He will be missed by not just his wife and 7 (yup, not a typo) children, but the citizens of our town too.

This is Stanley's secret hiding place.  It is at the base of mom's standing desk.

Mom said I should tell you I have a little bad spot on my paw pad, so me and Stanley cannot go for our run today.  Mom says it looks like it is healing just fine and beginning to wonder if there has always been a loss of pigment in the little spot.  But she says we're not taking any chances.

Mom and dad are talking about taking a trip in the Wheelie House in a few months.  We might go to the Grand Canyon.  Mom and dad have been there before butt me and Stanley have not.

Again, we will pop over to see everyone later today.  Mom has to get ready to go running for now.

Hi Murphy, we're very sorry to hear about your paw, and Gail says it is important that you make sure it is 100% better before you go on one of your long runs.
We do hope you all get to visit the Grand Canyon this Year. Think of all the posing opportunities!

Maybe your momma should just hire you your own secretary so you can keep blogging even when SHE's a slacker. But we're glad to see you, and Stanley, Jessie said to tell you she's practicing her French! (Language. Only French *language*. No other Frenching should enter your mind. Okay, maybe fries.)

So sorry to hear about your paw pad - that must hurt when you walk on it. But we know your humans are taking good care of it.

We thank that mayor for his service and we will ask Mom to add him and his BIG family to her prayer list.

We saw the video your mom posted on Facebook from one of the schools. All those kids outside were a bit crazy. We can't believe more of them didn't stop to pet you two. It's good to see you Doods. We hope your paw feels better soon.

We sure do hope that your paw feels better real soon!! Looks like you all are up for a GRAND adventure!! How fun!! We are missing our RV...but we are still heading south. We will be traveling in the Jeep instead so that should be interesting. Chloe does not ride well and it is a LONG drive. We are stopping in a hotel the first night though to break up the trip. Seems as if it would be easier to just take the RV! Hmmmmm...

Always a pleasure to see you boys. Drop over any time. We like Stanley's hiding place. It looks comfy. Take care of that spot, Murphy. We do't want you to not be able to fly like the wind after Wilson.

We haven't been able to make the blog rounds lately - Mom's been tight on time, and when Blogger was all messed up it was driving her nuts! (More nuts than she already is.)
Anyway - we hope your footy=foot is OK!
