Eclipse Day

Today was our eclipse day.  We had 92% here.

While mom and dad were staring at the sun me and Stanley were resting cuz . . .

This morning when they were getting ready to go for a run Stanley kept shouting "Woo, woo, woo, woo!"  He usually only does his woo-woos one-time through to say "Good morning" but today he said it 87 times!

So mom and dad grabbed our leashes and took us on the 7-mile route.  That's a mile longer than our regular route!  Mom said we did great!

After our run we took a shortcut and did a little bit of hiking.

Then we walked about another half mile to get home.  That's how our family rolls!

The wheelie house is locked & loaded!  One more sleep!

It sounds like you Doods had a fun run and hike this morning. No wonder you slept through the eclipse.

Mom really enjoyed seeing the eclipse too even if it wasn't quite total. We would love to go for a run with you, but the Momster's legs don't run:)

Ya'll run so far! Pierre might could keep up that pace but Bentley would crash and burn after one mile. Of course, mom can't run at all so no worries! BOL! Have a safe trip.

You two had a pawesome run!! Now Murphy, you CAN'T tell your pawrents this, but do you know why Stanley was woo-wooing so much? He was distracting everyone so *I* could sneak into the wheelie house! I'm going to stow away with you and go on the trip. Grreat idea, huh?

WELL, Doods you just SHOULD NOT have posted those there pictures of those ROCKS all around you when you were walking cos now my MOM wants you to bring her those rocks on Sunday..........she said she will fix you dinner and dessert for trade. Is that fair? We could run around the goat pen together...fun times coming up. Mags

I held my phone camera up and took pictures, but didn't have glasses to be able to look at it. It got like dusk in Chattanooga, but the house seemed very dark.

Both Sam and Elsa slept through the eclipse while I watched it online since around our crib glasses were sold out. Woo-hoo...so excited for your trip and the mini-bar adventures you'll enjoy! 😎

It's great that you got to see some of the eclipse. Ghostwriter wishes her knees were good enough to go on big walks like your humans do. Maybe after she gets new ones! In the meantime, we enjoy seeing the pictures from your walkies!
