Friday Family Fun

Yesterday me and Stanley went for our Friday Fun Family 6 mile run (say that fast).  Mom says tired dogs are happy pawrents dogs.  We were really happy for the rest of the day!

Earlier in the day . . .

Murphy & Stanley

  1. Wow, 6 miles? I've never walked that far, let alone run! Bow wow, enjoy your naps!

  2. Oh yes you all look very happy together there.
Were Mom and Dad napping after the run too?
    Toodle pip!

    1. Nope, they only nap after the long run on Mondays.

  3. Hari Om
Heheheh, I was wondering as Bertie was!!! Lots of happy to be seen here. Wonderfurs. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

'happy pawrents dogs' we love that. So now I know what dog tired looks like.
    Hugs madi your bfff

  5. The mama asks if you can take me with you for the next run.... she wants a dog-tired pup too 😀

  6. You two are doing just what we are doing - we just had a delightful 45 minute walk with Mom along the trail. It is so nice to finally have some cooler weather.

    Woos - Ciara and Lightning

  7. You look like very happy dogs!! We think you need bright yellow harnesses or shirts like your Mama and Daddy, so you can all be matchy when you run!!
    Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo

  8. It's so good that you and your humans can go on those runs. Our ghostwriter has the arthritis in her knees now, but used to do a lot of walking. The oldest of the four siblings is a runner, though. He just ran a race this morning! He's my favorite human Ryan's Dad, and Ryan ran his first kiddie race today too!

  9. yeah....we can see that happiness oozing right out of you!

  10. I can testify to that with having Copper here-if she is tired, she's less likely to get into mischief.
You two would love playing with all three dogs.
    Noreen, Hunter, Lily and Copper

  11. Those are some tired and happy dogs. Our summer here in Chicagoland was a bit warmer than normal (usually with the winds off the lake summers are pretty mild), so Abby Lab was really happy to get a long run in with her Dad now that it's in the low 70's. I can't run with the bone on bone with the knee, but will bike along with them.

  12. That is a very LONG run! It is wonderful that the whole family can enjoy this activity all together!! Now...we can understand why you would want to nap after all that!!

  13. Hope it was nice and cool during your 'fun' run. Sam probably would have hailed a cab after 4 miles. 😎

  14. Six miles?! I don't think I'd want to run that far. I let Momma run that far and leave me where there's air conditioning and treats.

  15. Pawsome running! And grreat photos!

  16. That sounds like a blast! I hope it's cool there!
    Yours sincerely,
    Margaret Thatcher

  17. That top photo is really superb!!!!!!!! Just fantastic DakotasDen

  18. We would look d ad tired if we ran six miles mainly because we WOULD be dead! BOL!

Don't just sniff around, leave your mark with a comment so we know you've stopped by. Wags!!
