During the warm summer months mom and dad get up REALLY early to go running. On Fridays, me and Stanley get up early too cuz that is the day we run 6 miles with our pawrents. So on these days a nap is necessary!
* The "Tut" bed is a cedar chest at the end of the bed with a memory foam mattress on it (making it the same height as the bed). Many nights it is used for "doggie overflow".

This is too funny. I have a cedar hope chest at the foot of my bed and the dogs like to sleep on it. They also use it to get up on the bed.Scotties aren't the only silly dogs. As soon as I shut off the light, they come and get next to me. I don't have anyone to take the pictures.
We just love the way you are holding Mama's paw, Stanley!! Hmmmm, we are going to see if we can talk our Mama into a nap!

Wow you guys sure look like you know how to nap...you all look so cozy! My Mom and Dad have started running this past week or two (not six miles or nothing...usually more around 2), too...but they haven't taken me yet. Mom even got this hands free leash thing to use...hopefully soon!
I always hold paws with my peeps when I sleep too. Makes them feel safe :)

How completely adorable! Sam almost never lays on his back so to see it in other pups makes me smile. And the paw to hand holding, priceless. :)
