Barrel Racing

Welcome to the Barrel Racing event!  Our cowboys and cowgirls are ready to race around the barrels and back again in what will hopefully be record times!  But you know how that goes, sometimes things don't always go as expected!  Here comes our first rider!

Addi is looking good and her horse is running tight against the barrels.  She might be setting a time to beat!

Sweet William looks like a natural as he easily maneuvers past those barrels.  We don't even think he's breaking out a sweat!  He is one confident cowboy!

Arty is all business as he hugs the barrels.  This is supposed to be an amature event but he looks like he's got pawfessional skills!

Casey has a great rhythm and his horse takes the turns well.  But wait, he's grabbed the horn!  What does this mean?

Jessie is flying past these barrels!  We're afraid she's about to break the sound barrier!

Sarge is riding with total abandon.  The expression on his face says it all.  He is having a very good time!

Whoa!  Bentley is on a clydesdale!  That is one HUGE horse!  Those barrels look tiny compared to this gentle giant.  This isn't a horse built for speed but it is big enough that just a couple steps and he's through this course!

Oh, things aren't looking too easy for our cowboy Easy!  He lept over the first barrel and then high centered over the second one.  Wait, is that a beer he has with him?  And is this the elephant skater he is always talking about?

Frankie & Ernie minis are our next cowboys and they are competing as a team.  It looks like they are racing around a barrel full of monkeys!  Oh, no good can come from that!  And where did that hydrant come from?

Mabel may be young but this little cowgirl looks like it ain't her first rodeo!  She is proof that those Idaho gals know their way around a horse!

Aw, Madi's grandpa wanted Madi to ride his best horse.  Looks like he's gonna take care of his grandcat in this event!

Ut oh . . . looks like Murphy has a few troubles!

Oreo is flying past the barrels but he might be distracted because some unscrupulous contestant has blown bubbles into the arena!  Focus Oreo, focus!

Paisley looks like she is just enjoying the ride!  It looks like she's spreading happiness along the way!  She is our first side saddle cowgirl and demonstrating excellent balance!

Pierre must have trained with Paisley cuz he is side saddle too!  He looks like he is in it for the fun!

Princess Leah is riding a royal horse who has been trained to be gentle with royalty.  However, she has trained hard for this event and is ready to get to it!

Ranger is rocking the Batman Cowboy look!  We wonder if he has an official sponsor?  He might come out of this rodeo with some offers from sponsors if he hasn't already!

Ruby looks like rodeo queen material!  She is easily putting her horse through its paces and guaranteed to get a good time!

Stanley looks a bit worried as his horse jumps the first barrel.  We're not sure this is going to end well so you might want to close your eyes!

Oh my dog!  Wesley McPoodleton is a total cowboy athlete!  He is aggressively taking those barrels without showing any fear!  He's gonna have a great time fur sure!

Ziggy is riding a rootbeer barrell and it looks like he's racing against Sally Ann who is high centered on a barrel.  Wait, where did that tiger come from?  We might need the rodeo clowns for this one!

That concludes our barrel racing event.  All scores will be compiled by the judges.  We hope everyone enjoyed watching our Blogville cowgirls and cowboys compete in this exciting event.  Be sure to check out all the other events too.  Yee haw!

Eight Photos of Happiness

We got tagged by Dory for 8 photos of Happiness. Thanks to our good furend Dory for thinking of us! This started with Ariel's Little Corner of the Internet (who we did not know but will visit).  Now let's see if we can find 8 photos BOL!

We love this photo cuz mom said it is called "Murphy, Thief of My Heart".  I was making her laugh.
This is when me and Stanley were about 6 months old.  We still run side-by-side like this.  We have NEVER been apart and hope we NEVER are!

Mom loves this picture cuz I was a puppy and already discovered the ball.  She had no clue how serious this relationship was going to get!

We love this picture cuz it was the day that dad picked Stanley to come live with us.  We were 5 weeks old.

Mom loves this picture cuz she said it was proof that we were posers.  She said we made the flowers prettier.

Stanley is just a fluffy love once you get past the bull-in-a-china-shop outside.

Me and my brother just chillaxing and enjoying the scenery.

This is a great photo of Stanley and his joy.

This is just a great photo that accidentally happened.

We like this cuz it's just how we roll!

OK, we might have had troubles counting BOL!  It was fun going through our photos.  We have 87 million of them (probably not a real exaggeration).  OK, now you want to have fun?

The "guidelines" for the tag are:

1. Thank your nominator(s) and link them to the post. DONE!

2. Link to the creator of the tag, Ariel's Little Corner of the Internet. Ariel is a young lady in the UK who has a little bit of everything!  DONE!

3. Post your eight photos of happiness. DONE!

4. Pop in a brief description of the photo, why you chose it, or just let the photo do the talking! DONE!

5. Spread the happiness and tag up to ten other bloggers! We are letting you tag yourselves!!

My Name Is On The Box!

OMD!  I found out the bestest thing ever!  I found out that a treat was named after me!  I did NOT know this and then when Sydney from Chewy sent us our monthly treats to review, the box had MY name on it!

Good Boy Dog Treats by Sojos - Chicken Pot Pie flavor

I am so honored to have such a delicious treat named after ME!  And we know that Sojos is a wonderful company right here in the USA!  They have very high quality pet foods so that makes it even more of an honor!  I wanted to tell Stanley my exciting news right away.  I wonder where he is??

Wait a minute!  That's not right!  Oh well, maybe they named it after both of us.  Like our last name, lots of Campbells are around so maybe that is the same thing.  Anyway . . .

Mom says it is a great treat and she likes the fact is it small enough that we can have several or use for training and not eat too many calories.

Here's the other stuff she liked about it:  100% natural, wheat and corn-free, and no artificial preservatives, flavors or colors.  But me and Stanley just liked the fact they go down easy are delicious!

We tried the chicken pot pie flavor and can highly recommend them.  You can get them delivered really fast if you just click on this Chewy link (right now they're on sale too).

Required stuff:  We were provided this treat free of charge as part of the Chewy Blogger Program.  We were under no obligation to give a favorable review and were not paid for our opinion.

Some Photos

We're getting things back to normal now that our vacation is over.  I thought I would show you a few photos.  This one shows how rugged the coast is in Oregon.  There are beaches but the water is cold, the wind blows strong, and the outside temperatures don't support beachwear most of the time.  Butt, it is beautiful!

Se caught this fella taking a nap.

These are boats chasing whales at Depoe Bay.  We watched them from the shore where we saw our whale.

Trillium Falls Trail at the Redwoods National Park.  Dory's brother Arty like to hike here.  We love the lush Redwood forest.  It is so different from our dry trails here!

We loved all the new smells!

It was like a jungle!

We did not get any photos of the giant trees (we have them from prior trips).

After we finished our hike of the falls, we stopped at the fountain by the restrooms and while dad was filling up our water dish, a baby bat fell from above the roof! It missed landing on Stanley by inches!  Mom did not get a picture cuz she was busy making sure no other bats were coming.  Then it crawled a few inches into a crevice under the wall.  And then the next day when we went to a RV park (on our way home) Stanley was looking for a place to pee and found a baby birdie who had fallen from its nest. Must be something about Stanley!
