A Loooooong Walk

You will NOT believe the walkie we went on!  Our pawrents are VERY, VERY old but when it comes to walking or running, they just go crazy!  They need to slow down before they have a heart attack!  Here is the proof.  Mom asked if we wanted to go for a walk.  Of course we jumped at the chance!

Mom said we did NOT walk 50 miles (it was actually 7 miles) but I think she is WRONG!  Cuz this is what happened in the last half mile!  And Stanley didn't even make it to the grass!

Yes, I HAD to just plunk down in some stranger's front yard!

Mom, Dad, you need to rest!

Sort of Wordless Wednesday

Murphy

Pee Ess - This is what the mayor said yesterday to mom on Facebook:  "We have found 4 existing detention basins that are already grassed and fenced. We are examining what the cost would be to add a water source, some play features, etc. Myself and the City Manager and Parks & Rec Director will be visiting the potential sites on Thursday to develop some recommendations for the City Council to consider. We will bring our findings to the City Council on either the May 13th or 27th meeting. I'll keep you posted as things develop."

Polar Fetching Opposites

Anyone who knows me knows that I am an EXCELLENT fetching Dood.  I have VERY strict rules.  Mom throws the ball (or rope) and I retrieve it and bring it EXACTLY back to her.  She does NOT have to move an inch, I do ALL the work.  However, my brother Stanley does not have the same fetching ethic as me.  He's rogue and his fetching is totally off the grid.  So when he is "on scene" it's a whole other game.  He doesn't have any rules except to get in my way!

And then once I can FINALLY return it to mom, I'm ready to go again . . .

Just Thinking

I was just thinking about my date with Ruby. I got big plans! I sure hope she's into F-U-N!

Then I got to wondering where Stanley was.  I hadn't seen him for 10 seconds an hour or two.  I thought he might want to play tug-of-war.

I had to tease him into it.  First I chewed on the rope and told him it was extra delicious!

Then when he thought I wasn't looking, he grabbed onto it.  Sometimes he cheats and stays laying down so I have to pull his whole weight.  He weighs 15 pounds more than me!

Finally I won and took the rope to mom to throw so I could fetch it.  It USED to have a ball attached to it but Stanley tore it up!  This next photo is just so Taffy can see Stanley.  Stanley posed for it but said I should make it look natural.

Mom says we have girls on the brain.  What's that mean?

PSA

Oh my dog, it is May already!!  Our official Blogville Date Day is getting closer and closer!  Me and Stanley have been planning like crazy.  Our dates will be so surprised at the action-packed date we have planned for them!

Do you not know about Date Day?  It is open to EVERY citizen of Blogville.  Our furiend Sarge is sponsoring it!  All you have to do is post what you did on your date.  Easy peasy!  Oh, and let Sarge know you put a post up cuz there is a prize!  If you still need a date, it is NOT too late!!

Then the next fun thing after that is our Dinosaur Dig Fest!  On that day (June 7th) all you have to do is post a photo of you digging for a dinosaur.  You can dig ANYWHERE you want, even in your mom's "unmentionables" drawer!  BOL!!  But me and Stanley, we're looking for a REAL dinosaur.  I hope we find one!

Blogville is wonderful, always something happening and the excitement never ends!

Open Windows

Guess who likes having the windows open? Stanley loves yelling in the windows, "Open the door, I want to come in now!"

And last night everyone was in the house except for me . . . I just stayed in the pool.

Throw Back Thursday

These pictures were taken on our FIRST EVER family vacation when me and Stanley were 5 months old.  It was also our FIRST EVER time to see the ocean.  It was also the FIRST EVER time to dig in the sand of a beach (we LOVED that) and our FIRST EVER time to sniff a giant redwood tree!
