Yesterday we took our pawrents out for a 6 mile run. Lately, the weather has been kinda warm but yesterday was a bit cooler so me and Stanley really enjoyed it!
Here we are just taking a little nap.
At our house we are very serious about our naps, especially on the days mom and dad get up early to do their long run. Last Saturday our pawrents rode their bikes for 37.5 miles but they did not nap when they finally got home.
Sometimes we nap on the chair too.
Sometimes I nap on the couch. Is it time to eat?
Stanley wanted his picture taken with Bear.
That's all we have for now. Mom says she and dad are putting together our trip for next month. She said something about the Redwoods. The furst trip we ever took was when we were 6-month-old baby puppies and me and Stanley went to the Redwoods. It was how we learned to ride in the truck for REALLY long drives. Mom says we are easy travelers.

Murphy and Stanley, Your peeps rode bikes for 37.5 miles on a bike and they ran of 6 miles.............MY STARS ABOVE...were they being chased, were they chasing somebuddy or are they just gluten for punishment? Seriously we say WELL DONE TO THE PEEPS and we admire them a ton!!
I bet you two are glad you don't have thumbs and your legs are too short for biking. Your wheelie trip to the Redwoods sounds most wonderful and I bet it will be cool up there too.
Hugs madi your bfff and her lazy mom (who thinks she is doing good when she gets in 10,000 steps a day and rides the recumbent bike.
oh that sounds like a great place... do you think it is still the same or maybe it has changed since you were there. I hope if, then it is much more beautiful there ;O)
We can tell you love your naps. I get to nap with mom now, as does Gussie we love this new routine. It is wayyyyyyyyyyy to hot for a pug to be outside let alone running around. We are bummed. Moms weekend plans had to change cos it was so hot. Mags and Gus
Gail is super impressed by the bike ride.

We have been doing a lot of napping these past few days since it is REALLY hot here all of a sudden. We all agree that upside down naps are the best:)
We see you are trying to leave a comment on your blog to see if you can get those email notifications. It works sometimes here but not all the time. It seems like we have to do it twice before it kicks in.

We are very serious about our napping too. It is an important part of our day. I admire both your technique and your commitment to your craft. Maybe someday we will take lessons from you.
Wow! You guys are sure busy! I don't blame you for napping. I got in some good napping today too after yesterday's fun and games!
We like a lot of naps too. We might be going on a road trip with the new wheelie house at the very end of June!
hugs

We love your bear. Mom remembers the redwoods. Her Aunt and Uncle (Dad's Baby brother) lived in Orland, CA and since they had kids close to the same age as she and her brother, they'd visit every year, and then take the long way home up the coast. Mom remembers a giant Paul Bunyon statue at the park which her brother would call "Tall Onion! Tall Onion!"

Naps are the best thing ever, well after friends like bear and moms and dads. ~nose nudges Bonnie Pup
After reading about the running and biking, we are all ready for a nap, too. The first few miles of a trip are the hardest on us, but then we both settle down and enjoy the rest of the ride. <3 ~Lucy and Xena
We like to take naps with our pawrents too. They say that is one of the luxuries of being retired.
I am once again in awe of your ability to run and bike such long distances.
The Scotties seem to be allergic to any form of exercise, but they are proud of your efforts.
I am a good golden napper!

Whew, you all sure are keeping busy!!! Mama says our new house is even CLOSER to the Redwoods...hopefully the dates will work out and we can get together and I can meet my Uncles face to face instead of thru your window!!!

Wow, you sure are serious about your exercise and naps! I am impressed by all the napping going on in your house after a run. And, I am impressed that your parents are already riding 37 miles! Is 87 miles the goal? Keep on snoozing!!!
We like the nap idea...with the bear....wake us up when y'all get back from that run.
The cooler temps have been more than welcome thought the upcoming week of 90's isn't my favorite. Stay cool and walk on.
