Me and Stanley have been working on our toy pile (the one that is downstairs that I, Murphy, slowly bring upstairs one-by-one) while mom has been working on her sewing project. See that chair? It is her sewing chair.
Sometimes we just have to rest cuz it is really hard work.
This is what she is making. It will be a bed liner, at the foot of the bed, for me and Stanley to use when we are sleeping. Silly mom, we like to sleep with our heads on the pillow! Anyway, she is making 2 of them (split king bed) cuz she said otherwise they would always be messed up by the Rain Dance that I do every night.
She is working on the second one now and then she will put the border on them both and then quilt them.
Our weather is going to be returning to sping, even though it was kinda nippy (for mom, not us) when we went for our run on Monday.
Mom said she is going to open up the wheelie house and start getting it ready for our Grand Canyon trip. We won't be leaving for a while yet but she said it is getting close enough (and she has too many things going on just before we leave) so she has to do it while she can.
Speaking of our wheelie house, we received the most wonderful pressie from our furend Abby and her mom. Right away mom said the tote was for HER but we KNOW that Abby planned for US to put our treats and toys in it when we travel in the wheelie house so we're gonna have to talk about that!
In the meantime, we hope ever'one will have a wonderful Easter. It will be quite a day at our house cuz it is Easter, April Fool's Day and . . . Dad's birfday!!! Yup, our dad will be 511 years old!

That is a huge pile of toys! We love your mom's quilt and can't wait to see how it turns out. What a lovely pressie Abby and her mom sent to you.
Gail and I are super impressed by the bed liner. Your mom is so clever and so patient too! We hope you have a super duper Easter. We're guessing your Dad is used by now to birthday April fool jokes!
Looking forward to reading about more wheelie house adventures this summer.
Toodle pip!

All those toys look like so much fun!
We just can't believe how many toys you two have AND that they are in such great shape!!! We wish we had a big RV like you have - it must be so much fun to travel all around.

It must have been a lot of work to bring all those toys upstairs. You must be tired. It is best to let someone who walks on twow legs bring them down. Tell your Mom the quilt looks lovely
Your Mom is SO talented with her quilting. When my Mom was in Home Ec she got a "D" in snaps. How hard are snaps?
So she's seriously impressed. We are happy you enjoyed the tote. Abby Lab

Ha Ha! I remember sitting amongst all those toys when I was just a wee pug finding my way to the PugRanch!!

Y'all simply do not have enough toys! Mom has been giving a bunch of ours away. She said something about having enough to open a toy store. We love quilts but mom doesn't make them. That is beautiful.
We've been slowly moving our toys upstairs too! We just like having options wherever we are.
All our quilts have holes in them from Riley. I hope neither of you are chewers, 'cause that is a pretty quilt your mom is making. You do get your exercise if you are hauling those toys all upstairs one by one!
Such a gorgeous quilt. You boyz are super lucky your mom is so talented. And what a coincidence, my baby sister's birthday is Sunday too. We always called her our little April Fool and this is the first time I can remember when it's on Easter Sunday just like the year she was born. Happy birthday to your huDad.
Wow! You have a lot of squeaky toys! I would advise that you remove the stuffing and squeakers from them as soon as possible so you can fit more of them in your squeaky toy storage facility. I'd be happy to help you with this task. (Just saying.) Your Mom is doing some beautiful sewing work! Hope you have a Happy Easter!
Wow! You guys have lots of toys. Your mom is doing a great job. You'll enjoy sleeping on them.

Holy Moly! Check out that toy stash!! It is nice that you are keeping them all organized and clean!! We will be headed out in a week or so on our newest adventure...this will be different...no RV this time :(. But, we have rented a couple of nice condos so hopefully if everyone does ok on the trip we will be doing this as our annual getaway! Really nervous about Miss Chloe who has trouble just going to the groomer...which is about 45 minutes away. Two full days of driving is going to be a bit MUCH for her...
Your quilt is just gorgeous and your mom is very talented! Happy Easter to you guys and Happy Birthday to your Dad!

You boys are sure lucky ducks, awesome toys and getting the wheelie house ready! ~nose nudges Bessie Pup
Murphy and Stanley-
Look at all your toys. The biggest shocker is that they all still have heads and limbs! We could look after your toys for you, while you are on the road...just a thought :)

We haven't been by in a long time. Wow your dad is 511 years old, gee we really haven't been by in a VERY LONG time. Happy belated birthday.
