Deb Update & Us

First of all we will give you an update on Deb.  The actual procedure was supposed to be 20 minutes but after 2 hours they still could not find the stone nor do the stent.  So now they are wondering if it is something else.  Deb is home now, resting.  We will let her fill in the details when she goes to work on Friday (and has Internet) but for now no solution yet . . . so stay tuned.

*****

The weather warmed up today, into the 50's! And it's supposed to get even better!  Stanley posed for a picture for Jessie.  He hopes she likes it and hangs it on her fridge.  I think he really looks buff!

Stanley stole Wilson while we were having a training session.

Stanley plays a recall game with mom and dad where they call him and he comes running and then the other one calls him back.  Stanley loves this game until he gets tired and then he won't budge.

Here he was barking, "Snap a picture so Jessie can see me running!"

I was still working with Wilson.

Stanley says it's a sure sign of spring when our warm weather bowl is full of water!

I don't have time to drink, I have training to do!

I can do this all day long!

Very buff indeed, Stanley. Jessie must be swooning.

I am so sorry for Deb. I hope they find out what is wrong. Now, Jessie is going to do some serious swooning with those pics. Of course, Ruby is so in love with Murphy that he doesn't need to flex for her. BOL!

I just posted a comment on yesterday's post that I will post again, after I say what I am going to say. She may want to consider a new Urologist. It is QUITE COMMON for stones to move and NOT show on Xrays and the stone (or stones) are STILL THERE. When I have lithotripsies (the procedure she is having)...they ALWAYS do Xrays first. If they don't see a stone they send you home....it doesn't mean it is something else, it means the stone (or stones are wedged dormant somewhere and they cannot "blast" them until they can see them. I have suffered REGULARLY with these for 22 years. Here is the comment I left yesterday: "My heart goes out to Deb.........I am the Lithotripsy Queen.......I probably know MORE about kidney stones than anyone. Why? I have medullary sponge kidneys.........I have had at least TWELVE lithotripsies (the procedure to blast the stones)......the condition I have means I will ALWAYS have stones (because with that condition they kidneys MAKE stones)....she is lucky if she just has one stone.......I am having another lithotripsy on March 14th (last year I had 4 of them).......get well (and much sympathy) for Deb.......trust me, no one knows better than me...I have passed MANY on my own. I have also blogged about the condition many times on my cat's blog if you want to read them."
