As you probably already know, me and Stanley are "free feeders" and our kibble is automatically dispensed.
You also might know, I like to put my Cherry Bomb in our food dish. That way I can keep track of Cherry Bomb. Stanley doesn't move it out either, he just eats around it.
Mom thought that was sad for Stanley so she gave Stanley his very own private food dish!
At first I was shocked, but then I ignored it. Then mom discovered this . . .

This had our mom laughing out loud!
That is too funny! Hunter has kibble down during the day, but used to want to eat at bedtime so now I put it up. Hope you are having a great weekend.

Noreen and Hunter
If I had a free feeder I'd have to be on a diet, but Barkley had one and loved it. That's too cute with the "Bombs".

We cannot believe that you get to have kibble WHENEVER YOU WANT!!! We have to WAIT!
BOL! At the 'bombs'.
People say when dogs eat too fast they can get something very bad called bloat. Some people put a ball in their dog's bowl so when they push it around while they eat it slows them down and they have a less chance of getting it. My theory is you want to make sure your brother stays healthy! Nothing wrong with that!
Murphy, you're a hoot!

No. No problem there!! Too funny

You are cracking us up Murphy. Be careful or your mom will take away one of your spikey balls.
BOL. Everything looks great to us. If you are not going to eat that kibble can we?

BBwwwhahahahahah....uh oh... more cackling emanating from the Hutch... (but of course, this begs the question - did Stanley WANT a ball in his food too?!!) hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Oh my Boo! I'm with Chris, I thinks you are just lookin' out for your Brudder! Makin' sure he eats slowly and everythings! I USED TO be able to 'free feed', then I started gettin' hungry all the times, so I have a barrier in my feeder nows. SO not fair! Anyhu, I puts toys in my feeder too....then when I start pawing at my feeder, i can tell Ma I'm just tryin' to gets my toy, NOT tryin' to move the barrier to gets the food to drop! I thinks I'm smart as hell! heheheheee!
Anyhu, I'm goin' out to bark with you my Boo! It's gonna be a FABulous moon tonights!
Kisses,
Your Fiance, the one with the FABulous furs, Ruby ♥♥♥
CHERRY BOMB FUREVERS!
I think it's a wise move of you! That way he can't eat too fast and then he won't get sick or overweight. Although what with all the jumping and running and chasing you guys do, I don't think that will be an issue at all.

Murphy you truly are a funny old chap!
Murphy it is very very very hard to break time proven acts of TLC.
For sure you are just looking out for Stanley's well being and clearly Stanley accepts it for what it is. MOLMOLMOL I have too have kibble out all the time and SOMETIMES in the morning mom will find several pieces of kibble taking a swim in my water dish. She always says, Madi are you raccoon?
Hugs madi your bfff
What a good brother you are Murphy! We are sure Stanley appreciates you looking out for him!

Hehe, heh. Some habits are hard to break. Way to look out for your brother.
We used to have a full dinner bowl available all the time. Our angels Miss Ginger and Joey dog and old Charisma would eat when they were hungry and not over eat. I, however, have set mealtimes. Harumph!
I'm sure that this is just to help you both eat slower...right? BOL!
I'm sure you just don't want Stanley to feel like you have something he doesn't, right?
That really is funny, but we are sure there is a good reason:) Do your bombs absorb some of the kibble's nutrients through their "skin"?
