Me and Stanley had to have an intervention with mom. She has NOT helped us blog in about 87 years! So after a caring Blogville person sent us an email asking if we were OK, we told mom that we HAD to get back to blogging! We are GLAD that person helped light a fire under mom's ass typing fingers!
In the meantime, we will tell you about the crisis I had . . . Wilson went missing!! Me and Stanley (and our pawrents) searched EVERYWHERE!
We looked all over the yard, the house, and even the neighbors. No Wilson for days! I knew he was ballnapped!
It was all I thought about for days. Was Wilson cold? Was he crying for me?
Finally, after nearly a week . . .
We found Wilson! In case you wonder where he was, here are the deets:
There is a cedar chest that sits at the end of the big bed, facing the bed (sometimes me and Stanley use it as an extended bed when our pawrents hog up all the space). There is a scalloped wooden trim that is close to the floor. However, at the center, the design meets at a point where it's high enough off the floor for Wilson to roll under. BUTT since the chest faced the bed, the only way Wilson could roll under there would be from under the bed. So . . . I think the ballnappers came into the house looking for Wilson and Wilson got scared and rolled under the cedar chest. Then it was too dark for him to find the one spot high enough for him to roll back out. When mom changed the sheets on the bed, they pulled the chest away from the bed and found Wilson! It was a miracle! I was soooo happy!
The other thing that kept us away was mom was sick a few days doing projects (and reading a book that was over 800 pages)! One project was to go through all our toys! You can see we hardly had any to begin with! Butt Stanley protected them!
So now we think everything has settled down (mom finished the book) so we will start catching up with everyone. In the meantime . . .
Murphy & Stanley
Pee Ess - In case you are wondering about the book it is HERE.

Oh I's glad someone got there before me... this very morning I was going to send out a signal for missing pawsons!!! I thought pawhaps you'd off and gone with the LWH again, despite telling us otherwise. Sorry mum had the ickies, but that the hiatus was also prosperous in other ways.
VERY GLAD YOU ARE BACK THOUGH DOODZ!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Gosh Murphy, what trauma, mislaying Wilson like that. Truly a terrible crisis! So relieved that it all came good in the end.
Oh and I know all about the humans getting engrossed in long books (Gail's currently 2/3 of the way through a 600 pager - see today's post). You have my sincere sympathies.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
We are glad Wilson made it home safely.
We hope your mom is feeling better and are thrilled Wilson is back.
I was a-feared Tom Hanks had dognapped WILSON and tooken him away to Doggywood ... but he mighta become famous then (oops that was all in a storybook I was reading) ... but in reality he was merely where our toys often go to rest-and-relax. At least ... that's where mine go ... Dougie Dog
So glad you found Wilson and that Mom is OK. But those squeaky toys … you need to hurry up and do a de-stuffing procedure and an emergency squeaky-ectomy on every single one ASAP. I'd be glad to help. Just saying.
We're glad you found Wilson and that you are all well and back in Blogville. We love the high flying action of you and Wilson.
Well Thank goodness your mom's fingers found their way back to the keyboard and most of all THANK ALL THE STARS AND PLANETS IN THE UNIVERSE THAT WILSON WAS FOUND. I have been so worried about him.....but truth be told all to blame on the mysterious ballnappers and Murphy have to go "under cover" to spy on them. We are glad mom's flu-lite is gone and we are about to check out the 800 page book Good grief...that author was long winded
Hugs madi your bfff
We hate it when SHE finds a book. We're glad Wilson was found AND that he had the gumption to hide when the Ballnappers were looking for him. Glad you're back to normal service. Now after all that reading your Mom needs to have exercise....like throwing Wilson for you.
Welcome back Doodz!!!! We are so glad Wilson was found safe and sound...we think maybe he should write a book about his ordeal!!

We were so relieved that Wilson was found safe and sound! Mom has put up almost all of our toys since the house is for sale. We are so ready for it to sell so we can move and get things back to normal. Keep an eye on Wilson!
Glad you are back and Wilson is back and all is now right with the world!
