Something's Fishy!

Today we went to a Fish Hatchery. We saw giant fish! It was a beautiful day so mom and dad took off without us for a run. I bet they were so sad that they cried in their shoes!

Mom got all excited cuz they talked to some people called "thru-hikers". These fellas hiked 2,100 miles of the PCT so they are close to being done. We haven't seen Drew Barrymore anywhere!

Tomorrow we are headed to the Olympic Peninsula and this weekend we will meet someone special in the furs. Did you guess who it is? YaYa guessed correctly! It's Bertie's Gail!!!  We are very excited!

This picture is of me and Stanley eating Wyatt's and his brother's birthday cake. It was delicious! (There are pictures on the Facebook Blogville page.) We have more photos but mom doesn't have unlimited data so she said we will show them once we go home.

We are so glad to meet Wyatt, Tegan, and Wyatt's brother and cousin!

Getting Closer

We are only 220 miles away from the roar of the ocean! Dad says we will have our paws in the sand tomorrow afternoon! We are so excited to see our friends tomorrow and some new friends too!

The skies are very smoky right now cuz there are 16 fires state wide. But mom said the coast will be nice and cool.

Eclipse Day

Today was our eclipse day.  We had 92% here.  

While mom and dad were staring at the sun me and Stanley were resting cuz . . . 

This morning when they were getting ready to go for a run Stanley kept shouting "Woo, woo, woo, woo!"  He usually only does his woo-woos one-time through to say "Good morning" but today he said it 87 times!

So mom and dad grabbed our leashes and took us on the 7-mile route.  That's a mile longer than our regular route!  Mom said we did great!

After our run we took a shortcut and did a little bit of hiking.

Then we walked about another half mile to get home.  That's how our family rolls!

The wheelie house is locked & loaded!  One more sleep!

Resting & Waiting

Sorry we haven't been around too much.  BUTT the truth is we're going to be around MUCH less in the next few weeks.

Me and Stanley are heading out of town!  Yup - on vacation!  

We're going to see Blogville Mayor Arty and his brother Jakey.  We're also going to see Hailey & Phod's pawrents (AKA K10 & Sam).  And that isn't all! We're also going to see Wyatt, Tegan, Wyatt's brother and all his cousins!!!

We're gonna have FUN, FUN, FUN!  And guess what?  That isn't all either!

We're also going to hike a piece (a little piece) of the PCT!  Yup, the one and only Pacific Crest Trail!  Mom says we might even run into Reese Witherspoon!

We're gonna play on the beach and swim in the ocean!  We're gonna see waterfalls and a rain forest!

And we'll be doing something else too!  We're gonna meet one of our Blogville pals from across the pond!  Yup, across the BIG pond! Can you believe it???

So in the meantime we're gonna get all rested up.  Our pawrents nearly have the little wheelie house packed with all our treats and kibble.

Surprise!

I was doing my daily chores when Stanley barked to me that a package had arrived!

I came running right away since he said it was a box from Chewy!

We knew Chewy said they were sending out a prize box to everyone who pawticipated in last month's contest.  We wondered what it could be!

Thanks #Chewy! BTW, those are the coolest bubbles ever - peanut butter flavored!  We will do a post on them later!

Fair

OMD! You will NOT believe where we went last night!  We went to the county fair!  Mom said it was a good place to practice our crowd and noise exposures.  And we did PAWFECT!

Mom wasn't able to get pictures cuz of all the people and activity but we got to go to the animal barns where we bumped noses with sheep!  Yes we did! We sniffed all kinds of animals AND their poops!  It was a blast!

Running

Today we got up before the sun came over the mountain and we went for our 6 mile run.  In case you are wondering why we only get to go on 1 run per week it's cuz mom lies and says we stop too much.

Sometimes a fella has to poop and I know dad likes to carry the bag of poops when we run.

Everybody stop! I see a cat!

Stop! Another pee mail hydrant!  (In case you're wondering about all the layers of paint, the local scouts earn their Eagle Scout badges by painting hydrants.  Mom says it sounds like a way too easy project.)
