Yesterday we went running with our pawrents but we only went 5 miles instead of the usual six. Mom said it was because it was warmer outside and the sprinklers aren't running yet to create the puddles we usually go through to keep cool. So there was only 1 place to get water and we had to loop it.
Then after we get home . . .
Stanley didn't make it to the bed.

5 miles is very good too...the mama once joined a running team for a 2 miles run and she failed pitiful...she still can't believe that thiw two runners had a cat chat the whole time while the mama nearly met her maker as she waddled behind them :o)
We are impressed with your running amount. We don't think we would have made it to the bed either!
I once walked a long way and forgot to bring water. It was sooooo difficult to get home!

A tired dog is a happy dog!
Mom is exhausted just reading 'ran 5 miles'. She can do some walking but no way she'd run unless she was being chased.
Hugs madi your bfff
You Doods deserve a nice nap after that long run.
Five miles??? yikes, I can barely gets Ma to go three walkin'!!!!! I told her her arse was gettin' as big as Texas! She then said, 'right back at cha'"! WHAT??! Wells, that's RUDE! I bets you are all toned and muscular and....oops, I'll tells you later..I don't wants your Moms to hear! hehehehe
I LOVES your beds! They are FABulous! Costco is amazin'! Ma tries not to go too often, cause she spends too much there! I means, are you EVER gonna use a gallon of mayo???? She doesn't even really likes mayo! weirdo.
Anyhu, I will have to bark real loud tonights, it's gonna be rainin' agains! Ma likes it cause it's washin' away all the darn pollen!
Kisses,
Your Fiance, the one with the still itchy furs, Ruby ♥
That sounds like fun - and good to go a little shorter due to the warm temps. Don't you love running through sprinklers?!? I love that on a nice, warm day. I also like it on cold days. I especially like to stop and stand in the spray when it's cold and I trap Mom that way and she gets all wet. I just KNOW she loves it because she always says, "Thanks, Maggie!" She wouldn't thank me if she didn't love it, right?
Ha roo roo roo!!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
We're glad your pawrents remembered the water for you. SHE'd be flat out walking that far....so would we--short legs, you know.

There's nothing like a great run with your parents, is there? I'm amazed by how warm it is there but I guess you're at lower elevation than we are. It barely gets to 40° here at this time of year. Super Doodz!!!!
There is nothing like a nap after lovely play time
Way to keep hydrated guys and can I say what a very.cool.bed? :)
we need a rest just reading about your run :)
pip, smidgen, minnie, hollie, sharpie, ditto
You doods are in better shape than I am! I couldn't run that far even if I didn't have a bad hip.
I know you are enjoying the warmer weather, but wonder if you got rain yesterday or last night? It rained during the night and has been colder here today, but we are supposed to get into the 70's the rest of the week.
Wags from a very happy Mom and Hunter.
