  1. Crunch, crunch, crunch...we can nearly hear those leaves. That's a fantastic place to wander and investigate...except for the burrs. We ALWAYS come home covered with them. Drat!

    1. The mountains have had a bad year with rattlesnakes this year. Two dogs died that we know about. Many trails require leashes. There are lots of restrictions around here. Many don't obey them but we do. Also, mom worries about us seeing a deer, elk, moose, or other animal and chasing it. Mom says our recall needs work for when we are distracted. So unless we are in the yard, dog park, or fenced area we are on leash for safety..

  17. OMD, that looks amazing - we loved the photographs. She loved the colours, I loved imagining all the sniffs you must have had!!! And thanks for your suggestion of my own computer on my lat post - I'm working on this, I think it's a very reasonable request from Santa Paws, good thinking and thanks for the idea!!

  22. You have a lot of leaves down. Here in Cincinnati the leaves are still on the trees, but this morning we had a few snow flakes. What a wonderful hike.
    Thanks for being a friend
