You probably already know that we belong to Chewy's Blogger Program. Every month we get another treat to try out and see if we like it. This month we tried
Nature's Variety Instinct Raw Boost Minis. They make it for dogs and cats!
The first thing Stanley noticed is that it said "raw". Ever since we started eating our Sojos Complete raw food mom has paid more attention to raw foods. In case you wonder why, it's cuz me and Stanley LOVE it! Anyway, back to the current treat . . .
Mom liked that it was made in the U.S.A. No worries about those horror stories we hear about dog food made in China. That is something Mom really likes about Chewy. Not only do they have GREAT service, but they have a variety of treats that are made in the U.S.A. As for me and Stanley, we like the Chewy logo dog cuz he looks like a swell fella. We don't know if he has a name but we decided to call him Vinny.
Anyway, back to the task at hand. Here is what it says about these treats on the Chewy website:
Treat your pets with all the wholesome goodness they deserve with Instinct Raw Boost Minis. Healthy and delicious, each treat gives dogs and cats what they crave - real, all natural chicken and pure raw ingredients. These freeze dried raw treats are a perfect way to provide pets with the healthy benefits of raw while satisfying their senses with a delicious treat they'll absolutely love!
Key Benefits
- All natural, pure raw – it’s what dogs crave
- A perfect reward or training treat
- 100% freeze dried raw ingredients
- Only 2 calories per piece
Now we are wondering if you noticed the other thing mom went crazy about? Only 2 calories each! And you know what that means? We can eat lots of them! Now you are probably wondering how big they are so Stanley took this photo:
I told him that it was a great photo (he wanted to make sure everyone knew it was in a resealable bag) but it doesn't really show the size so I took another one:
Now when we have a low calorie, small treat that tastes GREAT, mom calls that a high value treat. And when we get high value treats that means we have to do our commands to get them. Mom said these are PAWFECT for use in training. So we started with a sit . . .
Then we had to dance . . .
Then I had to do Creepy Crawl (where I crawl on the floor like an army man. It's Goose's mom's favorite) . . .
We did lots of other commands too but we were doing them so fast that mom couldn't keep up with the photos. We did shake, wave, paws up, roll over, shoot & play dead, touch, spin, moon walk, down, and stay. So we got LOTS of treats and mom didn't feel bad cuz they are low calorie! We even told mom we were "dieting" . . . hee . . . hee . . . I think she believed us!
So here's whatcha gotta do. If your pawrents want you to do commands, tell them you need some high value "diet treats". Then have them find
Chewy on the Internets and get a bag, cuz me and Stanley think they are delicious! Oh, and don't forget to put in for the give away!
