Posing

Everybody always says that me and Stanley are real posers.  Yes, it is true.  We KNOW if we go anywhere that mom is gonna stick us on a rock, a log, or anything interesting and then say, "OK, boys - smile!"

We have just accepted it.  BUTT the thing you might not know is that next week we will be going somewhere in the new little wheelie house!

A Big Hike

Mom and Dad took us on a BIG hike on Monday.  It was a new trail that is close to our house. We aren't too sure how long it was but dad said close to 8 or 9 miles before we were finished.  Me and Stanley were pooped!

More Walkie Fun

Me and Stanley love it when the leaves fall on us.  We try to catch them but so far haven't caught one.

If you bigify this picture you can see us on the bridge!

After mom took the picture we waited for her to catch up.

It was very peaceful, not too many other people.

Dad gave us lots of time to go off trail to sniff.

We kept losing mom though.

There were a lot of new smells to catalog.

We can't wait to see what we'll discover next!

Autumn Walk

Here's some more pictures from our walkie.  Stanley has this thing about cows.  He loves them, especially Holsteins.  He has been like this ever since he was a baby puppy dog.

As we were walking along the trail me and Stanley were talking about how it must have been for our goldendoodle ancestors when we came upon a secret hiding spot.

We could only imagine millions of years ago what our ancestors did with this tree cave.

Dad thought it was.  He always likes it when me and Stanley are learning.  We saw an old something.  Mom couldn't decide if it was a house or shed.

It was a beautiful walk and the leaves were just starting to turn.  Mom said we'll go back next week to check a different part of the trail.

Determination

One thing about a Doodle is that when we put our minds to something we usually get it figured out.
