Bunch of Stuffs

Last night we went to school, our 3rd class.  At the end of this course, our 6th class, we will actually take the CGC test.  So we are really practicing hard!  As part of the class we had to go out into the store, do a SIT-STAY (or DOWN-STAY), have our humans walk around us, then release us into a heel.  Well, as you may know, in the prior cources (the Puppy 101 and Intermediate classes) I was not very good at listening to mom and never would do a STAY unless I was at home.  So we went out into the store and she said SIT, then STAY. And I did.

Mom watched me watch the other dogs and people going by.  We sort of did this last week and mom was VERY proud of me for not breaking my STAY and I remember how proud she was and how she told everybody how good I was on my SIT-STAY.  So then mom said "RELEASE".  And I remembered how much she liked that STAY from last week so I STAYED.  So she said "RELEASE, COME".  And I STAY some more.  Then she clapped her hands, said "PUP PUP" and jumped all around.  And I STAYED.  I would not move for ANYTHING!  So mom did the only thing she could do under these circumstances . . . she took my picture.

So today we went to Lowe's to practice some more today and the people there think we are amazing dogs! We walked around the store practicing loose leash walking with the STOP command.  When we encountered other people we practiced LEAVE IT.  All this stuff is needed for our test.  Then we practiced SIT-STAY and DOWN-STAY.  We went on the main aisle at the front of the store and did it while getting closer and closer to the registers where there were lots of people.  Then finally, we parked ourselves just inside the door where we were distracted by people coming into the store.  And, people kept wanting to pet us.  The people knew we were training so they asked if it was OK to pet us.  Mom said "Only if they remain in a SIT-STAY".  And everyone obeyed those rules!  We had great practice and Stanley did not get too "wild wif joy".  Mom and Dad were so very happy and proud!

Then this afternoon we received an email from our friend Sugar.  And guess what Sugar made for us:

How cool is that??  Thank you Sugar, that was SWEET of you and your mom!  We can use this for our business cards!  You might wonder why we would need a business card, well that is another surprise!  Mayoress Kougar Khat Madi asked us to be the official Blogville Directors of Purchasing!  We are honored and can now honestly say we have LOTS and LOTS of experience!  We humbly accept!

Your Order Is In!

  1. OK everybody . . . it has taken the better part of the day but we think we have everybody's orders in.  We ordered express deliveries so you should have everything in 2 days.  It would be nice if you could let everyone know that everything arrived okay.  We are so grateful for Frankie's plastic thingie.  The fact it didn't have a limit on it was very helpful because there was so much we HAD to order!

For Daisy, Bella and Roxy we bought the gift assortment of snacks and toys.  For Bert we bought a ton of snacks, treats, toys, balls and bones because at the Canine Country Club they have lots of guests and we knew he would want to share.

For Shiloh and Shasta we got the treat gift basket, an assortment of toys, and a starters agility kit.  Goose had a whole list of stuff he sent in and we got it all ordered.  He wanted a Cadillac for his mom but we ended up buying her a nice SUV so we hope that is OK.  It will be filled with beer and Cheetos just to make it fun.

For Millie we got the treat and toy gift baskets as well as a new bed and a special furniture thingie to hold all her dresses and jewelry   We also ordered a gift certificate for fabric for her mom to make her more dresses.
We got the gift baskets of toys and treats for Sugar as well as a case of elk antlers.  We also bought a silver food/water bowl set for use when it is time to fly home.

For (Freckles) Goose we got a whole agility course, a professional one, for use in his newly fenced yard.  It was hard to find the whole thing but we did.  And we also ordered a special bed cuz we know he appreciates a bit of pampering.

Puddles didn't ask for too much so we got the Cheetos and we heard there might be a need for a new set of wheels so we ordered a car too.  We also bought a "Get Out Of Jail Free" card cuz we suspected it would be needed.  It is a special platinum one so it can be used multiple times.

Dougal needs a computer and we got a VISA gift card too, loaded with $1,000 to help with incidentals.  Haopee will be receiving a gift basket of treats, bones, and stuffies.

Molly the Wally has a lot of needs because she has so many things she does with producing her shows and fortune telling and all.  So we bought her a new crystal ball, a fortune telling studio, a new wardrobe as well as a professional camera crew to help with her productions.

Kten got a years worth of pizza to be delivered every evening at 6:00 p.m.  And Jazzi didn't ask for anything but we knew she would want tacos so we got her a years worth for her and Addi.

Our bestest friend Ernie needed 87 things and we got that, plus (for Ernie's eyes only) a new fancy computer and so many snacks you will not believe.  And PRIVATES of course.  We also took care of Roxy (diamonds!).

Of course Benny and Lily got their 46 slices of cheese.  Actually, we made it 4600 slices in case their lady does this to them again and 50 jars (big ones from Costco) of creamy peanut butter.

Since Madi is our Diva Mayoress, we bought her a mansion befitting her position, plus some new diamonds.

We got Gizmo the gift basket (stuffies, squeakies, and treats) and some elk antlers.  For Sarge we got the cruisers, radios, office supplies and window dressings for the new building.  We also got a few personal items for him like a bullet proof vest.

Sally Ann and Andy got corsages, foodables, cookies and the treat/toy gift baskets.  But the exciting thing is that because we got a bit confused with all these orders we wanted to make sure nobody got left out so all you need to do is call Amazon and they have the card on file and each of you can order additional things you might need.
Mollie and Alphie are hosting the upcoming Valentines Day Ball so we knew they would need lots of supplies so we took care of most of the food, drink, gifts, etc.  We also hired a nurse to help their mom feel better.

Once again, we'd love to hear what actually gets delivered to you cuz our paws sometimes clicked on extra things on the Intermutts . . . thank you Frankie for your generosity!
"Whew, brother . . . that was a lot of work!"

Help For Starving French Bulldogs

Since me and Stanley have our own computers now, we spend lots of time visiting our friends' blogs.
"Look here Stanley, poor Benny and Lily need our help!"

When we visited our friends Benny and Lily's blog we found out they were starving to death!  So we offered to order them some food off the Intermutts if they had a plastic card to use.  Well, our Blogville friends are so generous!  Our own corrupt  incorrigible delinquent dear friend Puddles provided us with a plastic card to use!

OK Benny & Lily, what do you want us to order for you?

Big Dogs

Now that the excitement is over from our birfday, I thought I better show you a picture of what I look like all growed up.

This is me, Murphy.  You can see I look a lot different from when I was a pup.

We had lots of fun celebrating our birfday.  Probably the biggest surprise was that me and Stanley got our very own computers!  Yes, no more waiting to use mom's or dad's cuz we each have our own!
"Is yours booted up yet Stanley?"
It took no time at all before we were up and running!
As you can see, we are quite smart about working a computer.
We bookmarked our favorite pages.  Mom says we have to limit our computer time so we still gets lots of time to run and play.
Stanley is already posting on Facebook!
I gotta remember to post a status update too.  I just thought I should blog first.
Ug oh . . . look what Stanley is downloading!

So now that we have our very own computers we will be doing all our own blogging and facebooking without any help . . . cuz we're big dogs now!

It's Our Birfday!

It's here, it's here!!  Our birfday is finally here!  We are 1 year old TODAY!  We are now all growed up!  We cannot believe it has gone so fast.  We have learned so much!  A year ago we were just tiny little pups and didn't even know anything! (I was wearing green and Stanley was wearing blue.)
We met mom and dad when we were 2 weeks old and mom said she loved me the very first second she saw me.  She told our breeder that my name was Murphy. Then when we were 5 weeks old they came back to hold us and Dad made the final selection of Stanley to come live with us.

Then 2 weeks later, when we were 7 weeks old, we came to live with mom and dad forever.  It was our happiest day ever because that was the day our pack was complete.

And now we are BIG boys!  We never knew there would be so much celebrating either!  Did you know they are shooting a movie in Hollywood about our birfday?  Yup, it's true!
And when we drove into town, we saw that the city offices even mentioned our birfday!  We wondered if our Bfff Diva Mayoress Khougar Khat Madi made it a holiday or something?

Then we drove to the pet store to get some special treats and you will NOT believe what we saw - a special parking space for us!
We cannot believe how everyone knows it is our birfday!  Then, after we got back home again, dad opened up the newspaper and guess what was in the headlines??
We're going to have a special day today.  We have special treats and will be going on a Birfday walk.  And after all the celebration is over, we will all snuggle together on the big bed and go to sleep so we can do it all over again tomorrow.

A Wonderful Day!

Yesterday was a wonderful day.  Mom said she is happy to have January "in the rear view mirror".  It stopped snowing and got warmer. Also, our pawrents got to go on their first "above freezing" run for the year.  So they were in really good moods!  Then we got to go on our first walk in like 87 years!  Then we even had a nice surprise  - a package in the mail!
Who could this be from?
Let's open this Murphy!
It smells like warm weather and sunshine . . .
Hey - it's from Benny and Lily!  They are really kewl!  We won a Frosty Paws prize on their blog.
I really like this Frosty Paws stuffie!
And coupons to get free Frosty paws!  Hurrah!
Thank you Benny & Lily!  We are excited to try this out.  With all the snow we know what frosty paws feels like but never tasted Frosty Paws before!

Last night was also our second school night.  But mom is pre-scheduling this post so we can't tell you about it yet.  Also, don't forget that Saturday is the sledding day over at Sarge's.  Wait until you see us on our sled.  Sarge did a wonderful job and mom went crazy over the picture. See you on top of the hill!
