Last year when we went to the International BAR in Indiana we met so many friends in the furs! We celebrated friendships of those we lost and of those who could not attend.
We broadcasted the gathering (and ceremonies) LIVE on the Blogville Facebook page.
We had an official organizing committee that worked hard to put it all together.
But it was sure sad to say goodbye when it was over (so sad that some people sneaked off before this picture was taken).
We hugged each other and said farewell with our memories carved deeply into our hearts. BUTT when we said farewell to Arty, Dory and their mom, we heard OUR mom whisper in their mom's ear "I know I'll see YOU again". That was because they live close to a place we like to visit almost every summer.
So guess what happened??
Me and Stanley barked at Dory and Arty and said we were going to be in their neck of the woods this summer. Then we all decided to bark it out to everyone else in case anyone else wants to come too!
And guess what happened?
Some friends have already said YES! So we're pretty excited! We are calling this a Mini BAR and it's this August! It's going to be a simple gathering, not as tightly organized as the big one last year. There won't be ceremonies and we're not planning to LIVE stream anything (although it could happen impromptu). What we are planning to do is gather in Oregon and have fun!
Keeping it easy and keeping it fun - the Blogville way!
Grab a badge and meet us there if you can. There are more deets on the newly redesigned Blogville BAR blog. Arty & Dory are promoting it today too.
OMD, we have some big news for you! I will let you look at some of my great action shots from yesterday while I tell you.
You can admire how I line up pawfectly with Wilson.
And then SNAP! Wilson is safely in my jaws! Oh, Stanley wants to tell you about how he was attacked . . .
STANLEY: "I was minding my own business, running to mom, when suddenly, without warning or provocation I was attacked by Murphy & Wilson!
Stanley: "Yes, I wasn't even looking and they came flying through the air, at my backside and landed on me! Murphy stomped on my paws as he landed!"
Stanley: "I let out a cry but they did NOT even stop to apologize!"
Stanley: "That's why I am standing by dad for pawtection!"
Here is my evidence of how Murphy & Wilson are just in their own world!
You can see me running for my life on the side.
Oh, our big news . . . remember how no one gave us a birfday pawty and mom said they would make it up to us? Well mom said we need to get the Little Wheelie House ready to go in a few weeks! She said it would be our pawty and dad already made reservations!
