Changes

Yesterday we had a tornado!  It's a rare thing in this state and no one saw it coming.  The video is HERE.  Luckily it was about 10 miles from us and we had no damage.  No one was killed and there were no serious injuries.

Me and Stanley took these cloud pictures yesterday.  This first one is from the back of our house as the storm rolled in (mom posted a live video on Facebook showing it if you are interested it is HERE, just scroll down a bit).

Then after the storm rolled through these were taken in the front yard.

Today is a VERY cool, wet day.  Happy Autumn!

Murphy & Stanley

Wow, those pictures of the clouds from your front yard are both dramatic and unusual. Well done Doodz. So glad no-one was hurt in the tornado.

Oh no.....we did not hear about the tornado. OM word they scare us to death. November of 1988 one was in Raleigh about 1 am. This was way before all the weather technology. No one had a clue. Milky-way our first cat was a very quiet kitty never a peep out of him at night. But it was a warm night so the windows were up. He must have felt the electricity in the air. He was bouncing from window to window. All of a sudden mom saw what looked like the flash of a camera and then she heard a roar. The power went out so she got up to call the power company. They lady said Ma'am you just had a tornado pass over your area. Little did she know the flash ad roar was the tornado passing over the house. It touched down 2 miles from us.
Thank goodness you are all ok and I hope and purr no one was hurt. Those are some very interesting clouds.
Especially the low hanging ones.

We are so thankful there was no loss of life! We heard about the storm (Mom's a big weather geek) and thought about you and our other Utah friends!
Your photos are so beautiful -- in a stormy kind a way.

That must have been scary. We rarely get tornadoes around here too. When the wind gets roaring it can get scary.

I hope that tornado never comes back to your area... fall is great without things what fall apart from bad weather, tornados and hol-i-canes ....
