Door To The World

Me and Stanley have a doggie door.  This is an impawtent part of our neighborhood Watch Program.

We go in and out a million times a day.

We watch through the windows in the house and when we see something we are on it!

It is just one of the many ways we are helpful.

Murphy & Stanley

Pee Ess - We don't have any updates on Sadie other than now we are not seeing Brownie either.  Thank you for all your supportive comments.

That is one thing we miss a lot is our doggie door - we can't have one here in Florida because we are renting our house and wouldn't like us cutting a big hole in the door :)

such a door is a pawsome thing... I wish I had one too... but my howl-i-copter momma said no ..:o)
our paws are crossed for sadie and brownie, I hope so much there is a solution. I'm so sad that you have such neighbors. We had them too, they ran a puppy mill for some years... and as their dog became sick and wasn't able to produce puppies, they "disposed" both dogs over night.... so sad...

Oh Stanley, I loves loves LOVES! my doggie door!! Grandpa Santa gave it to me this year because I was SUCH a good girl. But I don't get to use it all day, just when Momma's at home. Maybe at the BAR you can explain to her that I needs to be able to use it ALL day?

WELL Maggie kinda made us our own door to the world by jumping against the screen door that she broke the latch, now all she has to do is jump and the door flies open from the porch and out her and gussie run, of course due to my eye sight and good manners I have to wait until someone takes me down the steps....I sure hope those two doggies are okay. stella rose

We have lots of outlook posts, so we can watch what's happening. It's a dog's job.

You have your own door? We'd love one but Marcus would wear it out running in and out while shoving the other dogs aside to be first through the door.

Hope those dogs are okay.

I was so upset after reading about Sadie, I had trouble going to sleep. We hope those terrible people never get another dog. We love your door and we wish we could have one, but then we would have acres to roam and that wouldn't be good!

We don't have a fenced yard (the way the porch stairs and driveway are laid out it's pretty hard to put one in. But Abby gets play dates with her friend Andy the Lab who has a HUGE fenced yard a couple of blocks away. He belongs to her dog walker and she loves going over there.

Aloha friends, I just realized that Stanley looks like he's a poodle-of course I've got a certain poodle on my mind. My cousin was a runner too and has that"runner" build, plus is 7" taller than me. I had to fight tears over what became of Sadie(my heart dog before Hunter had the same name). Hope you have a good evening!

That is a great door for you boys to use at your leisure! Our cousins have one and we love going through it. :) We were really upset when we read what had happened to Sadie. We are glad your Mama did the right thing and was able to get someone to look in on the situation. But now we are worried that neither dog can be seen...

OMD!!!! MONKEY BUNS and my most handsome STUD MUFFIN....I am so happy to see you on sentry duty watchin' overs your hood!!! And keepin' an eye outs for that most nasty neighbor lady....arrrrrgh! I just hopes that she had the brains to rehome the doggies to someone with a soul.
Nows, I am still recovering from my most HORRIBLE DAY OF TORTURES! okays, not really. Today I was all back to normals, butts I am running under the kitchen table when Ma grabs that ear medicine....that is another form of puppy torture, rights??? even though she gives me freeze dried chicken breasts afters??? I thinks so. And I'm thinkin' of callin' ups Lester from Dateline to investigate this! I means, really?! So many nasty things done to me in one visit?? there's gotta be a law or somethings!
What? Ma says pffffffffft! yuks! I thinks she gots me with the spittle! Peep spittle!!!! YUCKERS!!!!! I thinks I needs a bath!!! yeah, scratch that last part....
Okays, I'm headin' out to bark at you my puddin' pie!
Kisses,
Your Fiance, the one with the on-itchy furs, Ruby ♥♥♥♥

Wow! Do not show your doggie door to Bentley and Pierre. They want one so bad. Pierre would go tree rat and lizard hunting every five minutes. Bentley would probably stand halfway in and halfway out. BOL!

Often wished my house had a way to install a dog door, but with 1 ft. thick walls and no door to a fenced area, it's just not possible. :( Hopefully both neighborhood pups have been rescued away from those horrible excuses for humans. Paws crossed.
