Checking Back On The Leaves

Remember that place we went to and we said we were going to go back and check on the changing leaves?  Well we went back on Saturday and not only have the leaves changed but lots of them fell already!  But in other parts they hardly changed. Mom shot this picture when she couldn't really see.  Can you tell where we are?

Mom said this was the 3 Boy Butts picture BOL!

We went up to a new part with a pond.

Of course mom made us pose on a rock.

We explored around the pond and found geese and little kids.  One petted us and the other honked.

On the way back from the pond we saw a horse and he really liked us.  We were nose-to-nose and smelled each other's breaths but mom didn't get any pictures cuz she said she was "watching the situation".

Now we are wondering what it will look like when it snows?

the stone looks a little like a heart from a giant :o) maybe you can visit that place again after you got snow? it's sometimes impressing how different places can look with snow or without leaves :o)

Oh, what a pretty walk! Here in Texas, our leaves just turn brown and fall off all at once. Momma used to live up north where they turn lots of pretty colors furst, she says. WOW.

We think you need to keep going on that walk every few days....or every day, to really make a record of the changes. Then you need to go in the snow!

Another beautiful place to hike. That pond looks like it would be fun to swim in unless the geese are in there. They can be kind of cranky! We have never seen a horse before. My mom would have been watching the situation too! BOL!
