Beating The Heat

Me and Stanley can't wait to get away from all these warm days.  It has been in the upper 80's and lower 90's for days now!  We think Autumn has totally passed us by!  But at 8,000 feet we know it will be nice and cool (actually cold at night) and we will love that.  We are counting the number of sleeps until we leave!

PS from Gail: last week my boss returned from her holiday, which involved her and her partner taking their SEVEN dogs away for a week to the seaside in their specially adapted Wheelie House. Not even small dogs either - labs and springer spaniels I think. She said it all went well...

  11. We are hoping for cooler days too. It was 95 yesterday morning at 9AM. The humidity is horrible and the wind speed has been zero.
