More Work!

Mom and dad worked at the dog park this weekend.  Mom says they installed 2 waste stations, finished fencing and gate repair, and put in stone along the strip that used to be a carpet of goat heads.  Mom said all the really hard work is now done and about the only thing left to do is put slats in a fence and install signs.

Dad did a great job assembling and installing the waste stations.

This is the strip that was a carpet of goat heads (puncture weeds).  They tore the top layer off (last work party) and then this time they leveled it and put down weed barrier and stone.

Mom shoveled stone too.  She said her shoulders still are sore cuz she is an old woman.  But now it looks lots nicer and the doggies won't get puncture weeds in their feets!

ATTENTION SOCCER PLAYERS & CHEERLEADERS!
Remember tomorrow is soccer practice here and at Coach Easy's place!

  7. They are sure puttin' in a LOT of HARD yakka! It looks great. Fantastic idea to get rid of the goat's heads. We call them cat head here, and SHE is always having to pull them out of our paws. Hopefully, they'll STAY out of the park! Give your pawrents some treats!
