A Flag & Best Manners

Wow, the big day is nearly here!  In preparing for everything it turned out that there was NO Blogville flag!  This was terrible news! How can we have a ceremony without a flag? But our new City Manager Dory, fixed the problem before everyone even knew there was a problem!  She stayed up all night sewing together a brand new, furst ever, Blogville flag!  We are so proud of the way she handled this potential disaster!!  Now, we want you all to be sure and go over to her place to see the (full, biggified) flag!

We are HOPING that everyone will want to fly the flag on their blogs.  And whenever something bad happens in Blogville, as a sign of unity and support, we will issue a mayoral decree for all flags to be "flown" at half mast.  So really we hope we never have to issue that decree!

Now the other thing that is going on is Easy, as our Master of the Blogville Academy of Comportment, has prepared a tutorial for everyone so they know the do's and don'ts of proper conduct for the official ceremonies taking place for Inaugural Day (Friday, the 9th).  I think we all could stand to brush up on our manners and Easy is just the pawfect fella to help us out with some instructions.  So make sure you pop over to see him too!

See Dory and the new Blogville flag HERE.

See Easy and get instructions from the Master of the Blogville Academy of Comportment HERE.

Here are the badges you can use for the new Blogville flag.  We hope everyone will want to put the flag on their sidebar as a show of unity.  Keep the half mast one (black background) on hand in case we ever have to use it (and we hope we never have to use it),  Thanks again Dory for all your hard work!

We will download and display it on our blog.
Sorry we've gotten behind again. Mom tore her rotator cuff and her doctor put her on something that makes her verrrrrrrry sleepy. I need to figure out how to use that to my advantage, come to think of it. Hmm.
Yours sincerely,
