Christmas Village

Sunday night we went to a magical place called Christmas Village.  Some of you may remember the photos we took there last year of me and Stanley in front of all the different cottages.

This year we decided to do things a bit differently.  We decided to go at night and see if we could get some pretty pictures of the lights.  Our first surprise was that there were a zillion people (and doggies) there!  And me and Stanley were REALLY excited to say hello to everyone!  Mom tried to take photos with 1 hand while I tugged like a sled dog patiently waited on a leash in her other hand.  This first photo came out pawfect!

BUTT mom thought it could need tweaked a bit so I held really still while she took another one.

I was almost pawfectly still until I might have sneezed.  Anyway, mom said something about it being impossible to get a decent shot so I took the camera and took one of Stanley in-front of pretty lights. I might have shot over his head.

Mom kept trying, bless her heart.

Poor mom was really disappointed and said her fingers were so cold she couldn't even hold the camera still (hence the blur).

Dad said he supposed it was just a bad idea.  But we always need to give mom one to post.

  12. Mom says 'light painting' is actually a highly developed form of photographic art, so you two should be very proud of yourselves for assisting your Mom in being so cutting edge!

Oh...also wanted to let you know that the "Visit the Blogville Administration" blog hop code for January 12 is already up and running on my Blogville Tours page. You two are already in as Hosts! Let everyone know they can start grabbing code and adding their blogs whenever they are ready. The Letter to My Paw Pal code isn't done yet (my secretary is slacking) but if pals scroll past the "Visit the Blogville Administration" hop they will see where that hop code WILL be soon.

Are you sure your mom was aiming the camera at you two this year? You look a bit strange in those photos. Colorful but strange.

Thx for the WV heads up.
