Greta Update

This is from Linda this evening:

When we got over to the vet, Greta was seizing again. Apparently she started seizing about 1 pm and they got her calmed down, then it started again around 4 before we got there. She was given Valium and she finally calmed down. Still very out of it. We petted her and loved her.

Because of the seizures she went home with the vet again. She waited while we ran to town to try to find liquid milk thistle so we could get her started on that. When we got back she had her in the basket ready to go and there was a good sign: when she started moving her, she started swallowing and licking and opened her eyes some. She was still doing that as we said goodbye and she loaded her up. Any normal activity is a good sign.

So it is still a waiting game but - her heart rate still good, glucose stable, temp was normal, she vomited earlier today but did not vomit up the medicine they gave through the tube. Her stool is now black and tarry - indication that the bleeding has stopped.

Linda appreciates everyone's love and support. Let's crank up the POTP even more and see if we can get Greta more responsive and clean out those toxins!!  Thanks everyone!!
