Play Date With Abby

Dog oh dog!  Me and Stanley had a blast on our play date with Abby!!  In case anyone is wondering, she lives about a 90 minute drive from our house.  And it is about 10 degrees cooler where she lives!  Anyway, she has the bestest dog park with a real ocean!  There were so many doggies there we thought for sure we had driven to Blogville!  Anyway, we will start the photos but it might take a few days cuz there are lots of them!

In this picture Abby was showing me what part of the ocean we should swim in.

The first ball mom threw was when I wasn't even looking!  So it floated into the middle of the ocean but Abby saved the day by going out there and getting it while our pawrents stood at the shore yelling "YAY Abby!"

Stanley and dad went off to the side for a bit cuz Stanley didn't want to chase the ball so dad had to find sticks cuz Stanley likes to chase sticks in the water.

I liked swimming in the deep water.  It was risky there.  I think I saw a couple of sharks.

I was wearing a life jacket cuz mom made me.  I am an excellent swimmer but mom is not so she makes ME wear it!

That's Abby over on the right.  We swam a lot in the same spots cuz our moms were throwing balls in the same areas.

I wasn't scared at all.

I was even swimming with all the big dogs.  I don't think they even noticed I was shorter than them.

I think Stanley saw me swimming by a dolphin so he decided to come into the deep part of the ocean too.

He might have seen a few sharks too.

Stanley is a good swimmer too.

Tomorrow I will show you some more photos!

  5. There were definitely sharks, and octopi, and sea monsters and dragons and all sorts of stuff in that water! It was great to see you boys, and I'm glad you got a chance to check out our ocean! Mom doesn't take me there nearly as often as she should... I don't know about you two, but I was really wiped out when I got home and as soon as I had dinner, I slept until it was time for my bully stick!

We know all about 'You can't do that because it bothers me' syndrome. But you look great in your life jacket.

  18. That is probably the coolest dog park EVER!! An actual ocean for dogs! Did you get to chase any catfish?!?! BOL! We don't even have a crummy dog park. We want to move to a place that loves dogs and is very far away from where we live now. ☺☺ You should keep your life jacket on just to keep mommy happy. I can't wait for more photos!
