Halloween Report

We hope everybody had a wonderful Halloween.  We started our day out with a hike.

Mom said she wanted us to get rid of our energy before we greeted Trick or Treaters in the evening.  She said she was going to use the time to train us on how to greet people at the door.

It wasn't even dark when we had our first characters in costume show up at the door.  Of course we were excited to see them.  We were wild with joy because they were our own grand peeps!

After it got dark, all these strange little people kept ringing the doorbell.  Mom said we did pretty good!  All I know is that I got a treat when I sat in front of the door so it seemed like a really good gig for me and Stanley!

On another note, I wanted to tell you about November 4th.  It is the "Bloggers For Peace" day.  On that day the goal is to fill blogs all across the Internet with the same words "Dona Nobis Pacem".  That's Latin for "Grant Us Peace".  You can post your peace globe and those words.  You can even get a free globe at the official site that explains everything.  It's HERE.  There's lots to choose from too. We'll post ours on the official day, November 4th cuz we are Doodles For Peace!

No tiny humans to protect us, but on the other hand, no tiny humans came to our door (no sidewalks and no streetlights in our neighborhood), so I guess it all worked out! We'll definitely go check out the peace thingy, as we are all about peace. Except for when we're wrestling!

Hi there, What good treat dogs you are-I was going to say guard but since your mom was teaching you to give out treats, that sounded better. It is so cold and windy here today, snow in the forecast for next week. Hope you have a pawsome weekend.

It must have been so much fun for the kids to meet you when they arrived at the door! It sounds like a fun Halloween. I love your morning hike photos!

Our Shyla is scared of people in costumes so we're glad that we live in the boonies and don't get trick-or-treaters.

Thanks for the heads up on Peace!

We hardly ever have any trick or treaters, so I don't have to worry about the boys misbehaving when someone knocks on the door.

Thanks for the heads up about Bloggers for Peace day. I clicked on the link to learn more about it.
