A Dood, A Park, and A Ball . . .

Yesterday, mom and dad took us to the dog store and we tried on costumes.  It was awful!  I HATE wearing any clothes and it turns me into a statue!  But we finally did reach a compromise.  I will show you in a few days.  But as a reward for being so good, mom and dad took us to practice with our UFO's!  We went to the REAL dog park.

When we got to the dog park, before I even went inside the fence, I saw another dog and he was playing with a ball.  As soon as I saw that ball I just KNEW he wanted me to play with it!  So I went running over to him.  Mom quickly pulled out my UFO to get my attention so I came running back.  She threw my UFO . . .  I looked at that other dog's ball and I made my decision.  I went for his ball!  Mom was worried he might not want to share his ball so she took emergency measures.  She pulled out the ball she had hidden in her bag and showed it to me.  The rest . . . well, I guess it's pretty predictable!

  8. Dog parks can be the most fun ever. Especially if there aren't any mean dogs there with you.

  10. Hi Murphy, You last a lot longer than Hunter does but I bet if he could play with you, chasing balls, he would last a lot longer. Happy catching.

  17. Beamer had to try on a bunch of costumes today and he was a statue too. It looks like you two doods had a great time during your well deserved play session with the UFO.

  22. Abby will play with her frisbee until she collapses. Me? Well... I might be of a similar mindset. Possibly. BTW, we're 99% frisbee gals because when the snows fall it is much easier to find a frisbee in snow than a tennis ball. Not to say that we haven't lost a frisbee or two, only to have it turn up in the spring thaw!

  23. Keep a tight hold on that, it's too much fun to stop! That's what I think for a dog anyway. I'm all about snuggling in a sunbeam.

Don't just sniff around, leave your mark with a comment so we know you've stopped by. Wags!!
