Practice Makes Pawfect

Me and Stanley continue to practice catching and retrieving our new Flying Squirrels.  (Mom note:  Not surprisingly, Murphy is much more serious about it than Stanley.)  I've been watching slow motion videos of Fi & Abby, our friends who live nearby, in hopes of learning their techniques.

Then for no apparent reason at all, things don't go as planned . . .

But we all know that practice makes pawfect!

And then just as I was ready to take my UFO back to mom for more practice . . .

  1. I love that UFO of yours, that looks like so much fun, I love to chase things but I never bring them back to my Momma to throw again, I just chase and attack it! I love to look at your photos and see you playing, your beautiful doodle furs blowing in the air! I like the photos of you and Stanley wrestling! Keep up the good fun! Love and Licks from your furiend Frank xxxxxxx

  3. When my back legs go fast than my front I usually go head over tail. Will this practice help you with catching real squirrels?

  4. You are very talented! Have to take time for a wrestle, though. Just makes you more energized for some UFO tackling!

  8. Our Frisbee sessions frequently devolve into bitey-face sessions! It's all part of the fun! We are quite impressed with your Frisbee prowess! Abby is the true flying master, so definitely study her technique!

  10. I love the Frisbee! Not really surprising since I'm a terrier- not too good at the bringing back part although I have been getting better. My favourite part is when it rolls on the floor.

  11. I can tell you've mastered that flying squirrel. Hunter doesn't seem as interested in his as you are in yours. Did you see me waving when we were in Park City Saturday night?
    Have a great day!
